Hi Ash, 30A. You can buy them online from us (Dillenger) if you can't find them locally

Hi there
I have the same problem as someone else! I hit a bump and the power cut out! The bike was fine before! If anyone can advise me how to fix it. I would be very pleased! I changed the battery fuse, but that hasn't helped.

Help! My Cheetah has recently stopped working... It stopped after hitting a bump on the road. I think it is a loose connection to the battery as it works temporarily when I fiddle with the connection from the handle bars to the battery itself. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated? Cheers, Mark.
Hi
This isn't an answer, but the same thing has happened to me. But the power doesn't work at all. I'm going to get an electrician to see where the power isn't working! Any help to solve the problem will be much appreciated

Hi My Cheetah has been great for a year, but recently the power drops to 50% sometimes! I would like advice as to what the problem might be and how to solve it! Many thanks.
Sounds like cell collapse in the battery pack, you could take the pack to somewhere like Battery World for testing and replacement.
Thanks Nik. I have 3 lights on handle bar suggesting plenty of power. Hope it's not battery problem, as you need to get Dillinger replacement and their expensive. I'll do further tests with bike! Cheers Steve in UK.
My Dillenger's battery (actually there are two batteries in serial inside, which are 2x 12V F2 12AH SLA) failed after a year or so. My fault though, had not used it for a long time and hadn't kept it charged.
To buy a replacement from Dillenger was too expensive, so I went to Batteries World in Maddington (Perth, Australia), who took them out and whacked together a couple of higher powered batteries for $180 (just for the batteries, not the labour, which was free :) ). So the range is increased by about 15% I think. There must be battery places in the UK who can also do a similar service.
Hi storm! Thanks for your advice. Since I mentioned my problem the bikes been fine. But I've only had it a year so issues may happen again. I find its been excellent value for money, but agree the replacement batteries are very expensive!
Best wishes.
Can I still buy replacement batteries for my cheetah eBike?
Take the batterypack to Batteryworld or somewhere similar and they should be able to replace the cells.
Otherwise Dillenger have spares for $149 plus postage.
EDIT. As I mentioned above, I took it to Battery World and got an improved battery.

How can we buy the bike?
Sorry, the Cheetah has been discontinued.

If you can find one don't bother.
2nd hand on Gumtree or Ebay. I would bother. Never had an issue with mine.
can this bike freewheel without the battery?
Yes you can but it's hard going as there are no gears
Yes it does :)
Yes, you can but the bicycle is too heavy even without the battery. It takes a good effort if you are folding it and putting it in your car's trunk. Not suitable for older people without the power. Better spend more money and buy something with better quality and in a shop where you can have a real good customer service.
