I'm going to buy 2015 dodge r/t .is that good car?????
I've not had a single issue with my 2013 model I've had it for 2 years next week got it brand spanking new and honestly have only done the two required services and filled the washer bottle and fuel tank. its beautiful to drive and in my opinion very good on fuel compared to the comparative petrol cars ie: mazda holden ford toyota. when I think about it I usually have 3 kids plus all of their junk as well as myself and husband that's a lot of weight. I still manage 7-8L per 100 on the highway and 9-10L per 100km in town, ultimately the choice is yours but I just want you to see that some of us journey owners have great reliable perfect cars :)
I am planning to buy either DODGE journey or FIAT crossroad as that only suits my budget.
Any ideas 2015 or 14 models? hope they have improved.
I like them both, especially the Crossroad. Go for the best deal, because the warranty is the same, and don't be afraid to haggle and walk away. There's plenty of dealers out there. I did all dealing online/phone and I think you'll get the best deal on 2014 model.
Sure thanks, i will go to the dealer on sat and check the best price.
Its been couple of months since dealer's service fixed our cold engine start problem and so far there has been no issues since. They said they adjusted something with the brake pedals.Been happy with this car and hopefully no more issues in the near future, since this is a brand new car.
Looking at the 2013 doge journey any feedback please?
When we were researching for a new car to replace our Kia Grand Carnival we looked at everything from Ssang Yong(?) Stavic to Nissan Patrol and this came out on top for us. Bought ours in December and loving it. Fuel for school runs around town is 10.7L/100kms, even with the seats all up we can still fit 5 school bags in the boot, has reversing camera, Bluetooth, wide opening doors, keyless entry and ignition.
Does it still have the problems with brakes tyres and gearbox
Hi, we are considering buying the 2014 Dodge Journey RT, I have read a lot of negative reviews about dodge in general in particular brakes and noisy engine. Can you tell me what if any problems have been encountered with the 2013 model, have they rectified the previous issues? and any reviews on the 2014 model please
I've had no issues so far, currently at 6800kms. Car is quiet, brakes don't make a sound. Average fuel doing school runs 5 days pw is about 10.9l/100kms.
Don't buy a Dodge too many problems with them.
The brakes were lousy needing to be replaced frequently. I am well inclined to believe they designed this so you will return to them to keep them employed and in the market. I had my brakes fixed at 'brakes plus' who offered a lifetime warranty on the brakes and have not looked back since for over 2 years now. Thank you Brakes Plus. Dodgy service center at Dodge - they fixed it cool without cost to me under warranty, but started charging me after.
This is a powerful car and yes it is big and comfortable with great views of the road. My fuel consumption ranges from about 8-14l/100 k depending on where and how I drive. Great family car.
