Hi, if it is still under warranty (1 year) take it back to the store you purchased it from, along with the receipt. They should replace it. If you purchased it online, don't bother as they never answer calls and never respond to voice messages. I'm afraid their diffusers are of very poor quality and just don't last. I see you paid $80.99 (reduced from$135), if you bought it on special. Despite that they are still very expensive and don't perform. I've learnt a valuable lesson myself. I've just purchased one from KMart for $29 and it's great. Best of luck!
Thanks for letting me know your thoughts on the quality of diffuser. Unfortunately I didn't keep the receipt. I hoped it was a light bulb.

I have 2 different diffusers that I clean regularly. It has always been hit and miss if the mist comes out from the funnel. Anyone know why? It is not dirty.
I have been buying Dusk candles for years. However the last few pillar candles I’ve bought have burnt very quickly, burnt uneven and have now covered my walls and ceiling with black soot. I’m just wondering how I should clean the soot of the ceiling and walls. I’ve tried sugar soap and handy Andy and just seems to have moved it rather than cleaned it off.

Hi! i’ve been following every rule for my moodmist diffuser but when i went to do my routine clean with the microfibre cloth and liquid i tipped the unit upside down to get the remaining liquid out and my buttons completely detached from the socket. seems the inside has completely collapsed and one of the buttons is lost inside the unit while i can get the other back to the front but they won’t stay if the unit is tilted or they are pressed in. i know there’s no damage as i haven’t dropped or gotten the inside wet nor did i aggressively tip it. any idea why this happened?
Your reviews are pretty bad, is there anyone in the company actually looking at these reviews and putting a plan in place to stop your company going under?

Careful, there's actually a second cap under the lid, I just found this out now because the design is horrible and I thought the little ball shape in the middle was similar to the dropper dispenser of the oils, squeezed a little and the whole bottle exploded in my face, eyes, nose and all over my kitchen!!!!
Hi, I bought a Gumnut Babies MoodMist® Diffuser last year but all of a sudden, it stopped working. I clean it regularly with the Dusk cleaning kit and I can assure you that no water had gone through the mechanism. Anyone else has had the same problem? Any suggestions on how to fix it, if possible? Thank you
Hi, my same diffuser has just done the exact same thing & in same circumstances! Just wondering what outcome you got from this? Can you get replacement bases?
Hi Amanda, Dusk kindly got back to me. Because I was still in within the one year warranty from date of purchase, I could take it in store. They basically, just changed the cable and it worked. Since then, it has been working again. Hopefully it will be something that easy for you too:-)

My dusk diffuser keeps flashing red when I turn the power on, I have tried adding water too it tipping water out none of the buttons light up the whole thing just flashes red. Would anyone have any idea on what could be the issue. It was a gift so no receipt
My diffuser is only 4 months old and only use it on the shortest setting every other night but I noticed last night that it didn't time out and turn itself off so I tried to turn it off using the power button and it wouldn't. I can turn the diffuser on but I can't turn it off or change the mist level. It seems those two buttons aren't working properly anymore (but the light button is). Has anyone else had this problem and was it resolved, of so how? Do I need to buy another?
This is the second one I've purchased in a year (the first one was dropped),maybe I just give up.
I've brought the Mackenzie white diffuser. I am curious if anyone has this one and if the button for the strength of the mist works properly? I usually put mine on for an hr of misting. However the mist strength button when pushed doesn't seem to make any difference in what is being diffused. The amount of mist looks the same whether I push the mist button once, twice or even 3 times. Anyone got Ny ideas?

You cant source parts of any dusk product from Dusk. If we could, would make our lives too easy. The are themselves finding parts from china. Your best bet will be ebay, gumtree and marketplace (facebook). Thanks

My diffuser is only 2 months old & I use it twice a day. The problem that I have with it, is it is not working at all; no lights, no mist & no vibration. I have noticed in the past week that it was making a wherrrrrring noise & now it has just stopped altogether. It was a gift from a beautiful friend & I am really eager to fix this problem. Unfortunately I don’t have the packaging. Please help me
I have exactly the same issue and dusk is clamming they won’t exchange it without a receipt. I have the packaging and it was a gift hence no receipt. Literally - you’ll get no where with them. Expensive rubbish and even worse service.
I had the same issue. Used it twice and broke down. even had the receipt, box (in new condition) and all wrappings. However 1 week over the warranty period. Cause they source everything from China and everything is such poor quality, they can barely honor the warranty within the warranty period (cause they have to for legal reasons), there is no scope for any further warranty periods.
The question for the law is 'should a diffuser bought for say $100.00 should only last the 12 months warranty or should they actually last more than 12 months'. Its no different to say a TV bought for $1000 with a 12 months warranty breaking down in the 13th month. would the law accept the fact a life of a 1000 TV is only 12 months.
Once we can get an answer to that, we can actually ask the same of dusk.

I purchased a Dusk glass defuser at Christmas 2021 . A present for myselfand the light that changes colour is not working at all. Mist works only. VERY DISAPPOINTED
If you have the receipt, please take it back for an exchange. They can repair (which they will never do) or give you a refund (which they will never do). So they might exchange within the 12 month period.
Has anyones "Kalea" moodmist diffuser ever just stoped working? I've just cleaned last night still has plenty in it but no mist ... Was working completely fine last night too but turned it on this morning and worked for a bit now nothing. This happen to anyone else?
I got the Kalea moodmist diffuser for Christmas and its stopped misting aswell. Glad ive still got my kmart one i got 2 years ago
Dusk makes the worst diffusers. Kmart honors their warranty, however duck is not very sympathetic. Don't forget, they are all made in the same factory in China.
They replaced my diffuser with no hassles and the new one works great. I went back with the product and the receipt and all good.
