Should I buy a 2014 fiat freemont that has 49000km. I know the owners and they are an elderly couple that have rarely driven the vehicle, they purchased it brand new. I am in Queensland Australia.

On the dash, right hand side of steering wheel, you will see two scroll switches, switch the one on the left down

I agree with Katrina H. or sometimes, if the light from the trunk doesn't shutdown when you lock the doors you should either unlock-lock from remote control or from door handle(Keyless) otherwise you will have your battery discharged.

ABS light has come on! What could cause this? Have tried reset but still on! Had new battery fitted recently could this be something to do with the light showing now?

What's this car like on fuel?

Pretty thirsty. But I think most cars of this size would be. Some do have a smaller engine but the car will feel really slow (but more economical)

My model (2.4) is actually excellent on fuel. I fill up once a month but don’t do a lot of driving. Barely 10k per year.

Bought our Freemont in 2013 and have never had anything go wrong with it. Twice to Sydney from Brisbane and back, fuel consumption was very good after driving many other cars on the same journey I have found it to be very comfortable on the long trip too.
