GME TX4500 Questions & Answers

My brand new truck has the gme tx4500 when I ptt there is nothing heard on another radio sitting across the road and vice versa when he calls me nothing heard on my end it’s a brand new CB

I've got this gme 4500 it's brand new ,I've in the cupboard for few years still in the box,went to put it in my truck and went to power it and nothing,the old one that came out had power,but discarded cause of age.fuse is okay so don't no what the problem is apart from sitting in the box and never opened for over 2 years approximately

I have a TX4500 I bought about 9 years ago and just bought the W1 PTT Remote, but I cannot get it to pair. I've followed the instructions, turning the raido on with microphone PTT button pressed, and the PAIR mode comes up on the screen, the PTT icon flashes but does not do the "slow beeps" and after 20 sec, it goes back to normal mode. I tried pressing the function keys on the W1, but nothing has worked so far.

GME TX4500 was working well for many days on 13.8 Regulated Power supply. Turned it off. Next time it was switched on, it was and is dead.

I just got a new tx4500 UHF and the squelch goes off all the time I have turned the squelch Dail to its maximum and it still goes off infrequently is there another setting to add to the squelch

My radio has lost it back light colour green I can get red blue etc by adjusting the backlight settings have I pushed a button by mistake to cause this or it a issue I

my tx4500 has interference/static sound after receiving I hit the ptt on mic and static goes away but comes back again after receiving. anyone had this issue? have repaired connection for antenna turned squelch all the way up and still does it.

I’ve got a gme tx 4500. When I push the microphone button the screen goes blank then reappears with the channel number that you were already on and has the word pair beside it and a lighting bolt in the top right corner. Any idea what it’s about?
