Hurom HU-300 MKII Questions & Answers
I have accidentally put a nectarine seed in and jammed the machine cannot take the top off, does anyone know where I send for a repair or what options have I?
Did you try reversing the machine?
You can do this by pressing the button upwards in juicer...
How does this compare to cold press twin gear juicers like an Angel or Omega?
I think the simple answer is "price". The twin gear juicers are much more expensive, but I believe worth it. The Hurom makes quality, great juice, don't get me wrong! It just can't handle larger quantities in a single session, eg 2 litres worth, especially using spinach and celery, and sometimes even oranges will clog it up if they're really fleshy.
sure a double gear might extract maybe 5% more juice from your fruit and veg than a single but im not that fanatical about my juice the double gear cost way more but more importantly it takes up way more room on the bench.
unless your running a juice bar i wouldnt bother
regarding Mrs_B's statement about the hurom clogging up
yes if your too lazy to chop your fruit and veg into small pieces it can clog the hurom up
but i chop everything before i put it in and have no problem and i make 1 - 1.5L every morning for me and my partner. it takes me about 15 minutes to chop, juice and clean the hurom
