Today the clock went forward by one hour. How do I return to the local time? This has happened before.

My wife's IX35 keep fuel gauge is reading empty but I fill her car up every week and know there is petrol in there.
Definitely no leaks in the fuel tank as my garage is clean and doesn't smell like petrol. Has anyone come across this issue before?
Car is still driving like normal according to my better half.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
I am constantly having this problem, when tank is half full will then go to empty. When I refill it then may or may not show full on gauge or it may take a few kms before gauge then resets itself.
Any one had trouble with no or low oil in the motor ? It’s akeays been serviced and not leaking oil at all Hyundai are trying to charge me to replace the motor And it’s still under warranty I heard a noise in the motor st 75.000 km service has Hyundai I care to take car to Hyundai they looked st it and said they couldn’t find any thing wrong grrr
What happened in the end - I have a 2015 Hyundai IX35 and same issue with the oil. Been back number of times and they are trying to say its ok - my warranty runs out in 8 mths and think they are just trying to drag in out
I had to have a new motor put in it which I paid for but I wouldnt get it done at Hyundai I went elsewhere
2014 or 2015 here. Same issue. We heard a noise just before service but they said they didnt do diagnostics on the weekend. The noise went away we assumed it was a filter or something. 6 months later the noise is back and weve been told we have lost 2.5L oil in that time and engine needs replacing. Doubt extended warranty is going to cover something that big.
This sounds a lot like the recalls affecting the earlier models.
Sound# just like mine I paid $10 k for a refurbished motor , they would not cover it under warranty at all
My window washing container has a leak and I want to replace it myself. How do I remove and fix?
Hi all! I have just bought myself a 2nd hand 2015/2016 ix35 highlander and have scoured the manual for answers to the following questions but can't find. Hoping someone out there has the answers. 1. Can you turn the compass permanently off on the rear view mirror? I can turn off but have to do it every time i start the car. 2. I have read that this model should have daytime running lights but for the life of me i can't find them! Does anyone know if they are standard or optional? I have been told that in other makes of vehicle there is no button/switch to turn them on they just automatically turn on however we can't see any lights come on when driving, unless you turn on the parking or headlights specifically. Grateful for any info.
I have had a series 2 ix35 highlander for 5 years. 1. I turn off the compass in the rear view mirror every time I get in the car. I’ve just got into the habit of doing it as I haven’t found a way to turn off permanently (I don’t think you can). 2. For some reason I also though the car had daytime running lights but it does not. It has LED “positioning lights” which is the bright strip at the top of the headlight that turns on with the parking lights. I quite like having these on (a bit like daytime running lights).... it just requires me to turn on or leave on the parking lights and remembering to turn lights fully on or to auto when it gets dark. I hope this helps!
Thanks Brendan, I have also now gotten into the habit of turning off compass as I get into the car and using the parking 'strip' lights as daytime running lights :) I confirmed with Hyundai that it wasn't possible to default the compass to 'off'. Many thanks for your response.
Every time I start my 2015 Hyundai ix35, I have to go through the sat nav wizard. Is it possible to set this so it comes on automatically without having to do the wizard?
Hey everyone, how could i simply mute the music on the steering wheel panel?
Hi My Hyundai IX 35 auto 2014 will not allow selection of reverse, It starts in Neutral and will select ahead but the lever is blocked from the reverse. Any suggestions?
Sorry, I don't know
Hi, i am thinking of fitting 360 cameras to get the birds eye view parking assist. Has anyone done this if so does the inbuilt system allow to connect and share the screen or would i need a separate screen, Thanks.
Hi. I have a 2013 Hyundai IX35 and my fog lights have suddenly only started working with high beam. They won't come on, with their own setting or with low beam. The fog beam indicator on the dash only comes on with high beam. If you gently pull the stick forward there is a flickering of the fog light indicator on the dash. I think it might be a connection issue. Is there a schematic on how to pull the control stick apart to check the connection or is this a auto electrician level problem? Many thanks. Sue.
Hi , I had this problem about 12 months ago with our 2015 ix35 SE Auto , and you will find they will need to replace your whole lever/switch mechanism off your steering wheel. Ours was under warranty when it was replaced so apologies I can’t remember how much is would have cost but it was a week or two for the part to come on and a simple fix. Exactly the same.
has any one have trouble with the IX35 transfercase iv only done 53000 ks and and 5 years old and hyundai wants me to replace it $6000 out of waranty
After my first highway drive with our 'new secondhand' 2015 Hyundai i30 SE, I noticed a problem. Driving in a straight line is nearly impossible. All other cars that I have driven track in a straight line with no issues. It's really noticeable at highway speeds, but also at city speeds, the vehicle requires constant correction to maintain a straight track. The car 'wanders' or 'drifts' left and right, with no real 'centered' feel to the steering. Maintaining a straight track is impossible and requires constant attention and correction. The vehicle wander creates frustrated and hazardous driving attitude and driver fatigue. This puts myself and family and others at risk. Has anyone else had this problem? If you have I'd love to hear how you solved the problem. I've not yet taken it to a dealer or mechanic.
Hi i had a similar issue I put it down to being front wheel drive, so it did take me a long tome to get use to , also if it was overly windy I really struggled to drive in a straight line.
Now everything is fine.
I have A IX35 petrol 2.0L manual 2016 model. While I am driving the speedometerjust jump up or drop and the engie looses electrical power, not fuel related, asif there is just no spark and after a second or 2 just takes off again. sometimes it does not do that at all. what can the problem be?
my 4 year old Hyundai IX35 is not working as previous with my Phone pad not showing the phone numbers etc on screen. Any ideas?
Hi, my 2014 ix35 has developed a worm wheel bearing. My dealer says it's because the fully sealed bearing was not adjusted at services. Where is the adjuster for this?
Hi, Have a look at the link below, it is general but very helpful. Being a fully sealed bearing you should get 2 new ones and replace on both wheels from or rear. After replacing the bearings use torque wrench and do it up as per manufacturer specifications. You may decide to take it for this job to a mechanic it has to be done correctly for your safety.

Hi Graeme, Sorry I can't shed much light on this (my ix35 was a company car, so I never got particularly involved in the maintenance side of things). However, I have always assumed that sealed bearings were not adjustable and certainly shouldn't be failing after only 3 years unless your vehicle is very high mileage. The only adjuster I can think of would be the axle nut - and that's more a case of checking the correct torque and I don't think it's a common service item. You should see well over 100000km on the original bearings. A seal may have failed and allowed debris or water into the bearing, causing damage. This is increasingly possible if the vehicle has been in an accident driven hard/regularly on rough terrain. I tend to agree with John's recommendation to have a mechanic replace both front bearings.
HELLO my highlander 2012 cruise control not working nothing light up when pressed etc etc
can someone please tell me if it maybe a fuse? i cant see a fuse marked for cruise control
everything else works fine in the wheel ...

Hi coco I had this problem and it was fuse 4 which controls all the sensors but you will need to pull out the memory block to replace it. If you look in tilhe user manual under fuses it will show you where fuse 4 lives and you need babies hands attached to body builders arms to pull the memory module the replace fuse 4 and wahla
