I have a HP envy printer and have tried non genuine ink form other supplier any one had any trouble with HP printers not recognizing HP cartridges
I have used Ink Station for quite a long time without any product trouble at all. Saved substantial money as a result
I have a HP 8610 printer. To use Ink Station compatible cartridges do I need to do anything with printer settings, or are the cartridges plug and play? Thanks, Gerald.
I have an HP Envy Pro 6400 series and haven't had any compatability problems but I'd suggest to check with InkStation whether there are any problems with your model. That's what I did and found they were very helpful with my queries .
Thanks Chris.
Hey Gerald,
The inks are plug and play, no fiddling is required. Though we would highly recommend disabling the automatic updates to the printer, to avoid HPs firmware from blocking them out.
Thanks for getting back with this info. That’s helpful.
My WF-3520 just will not recognise the black cartridges I bought from INK STATION. I've tried three of them now - but every time I get the 140 cartridge not recognised error message. I've had years of service from old WF-3520 and I am loathe to replace it on environmental grounds alone. Besides I have a few sets of unused cartridges to get through. The first time I got the error message I discovered that by replacing another cartridge that was low the printer was happy again - for a few print jobs. Is there a problem with the latest batches of E-1401? I have read that Epson printers can be fussy. They prefer genuine Epson cartridges. I have also read that a driver update can cause this problem. My latest online tip was to remove all cartridges, switch off the printer and then wait twenty minutes before inserting them again. As you can see I am desperate to find a solution. Ink Station, HELP!
The last tip has worked (so far- remove all cartridges; switch off at the wall - wait twenty minutes - insert all cartridges; switch on at the wall and then switch on the printer.
Ink Station Replacement Cartridge for Canon TS6360 has no instructions if tape and film on ink tank to be removed and which tape is it? U Tube only gives instructions for Canon Brand inks, these have removable film over ink tank.
So, I ordered a cartridge of ink now 10 days ago and I haven’t heard if it is coming yet. The only email I heard is that it is has been processed. Is this normal to happen? Because our printer needs that ink.
Before when I ordered for ink no issues with that but ordered for printer situation were different
Please note that I have sent several emails regarding my requirement to change my name from colfiske1 to colbart. I have done this on my submission but it has not changed on the website.
Will the 905 black ink cartridge work in a HP 6960 printer? Also is it ok just to replace the one colour with a generic cartridge and leave the other original coloured cartridges in with it (will it work with both genuine and non-genuine cartridges in at the same time?). Whenever I buy a genuine HP ink cartridge, it comes up with a message confirming the cartridge is genuine etc. so I’m concerned if I purchase a generic one, it won’t work in my printer.
Re portable printers - which of HP Office jet 250 and Canon Pixma TR150 have the most efficient usage?
Can Ink Station ink cartridges be used on latest Epson printer Epsom Workforce Pro Printer Block WF-4830. My Epson XP-245 has "packed it in" which I used your cartridges. Brian Steven Toowoomba

How to remove ink cartridges (coloured)
Whats the model of your printer?
Please refer to your actual printer instructions as every printer is different. These should be a push to eject type cartridge.
We bought some Printec Imaging Ink Cartridges from you (the full set) for our Brother MFC-J4620DW/ printer. The black box cartridge (B-LC237XL BK) looks different from the others and will not print. Also, as there are no instructions with the box, there are a couple of clear plastic tabs on it. We are unsure whether to remove them or not. Answer please?
Nothing should be removed from the cartridge, apart from any stickers that read "pull/remove" from it. You should just install it like you would the other cartridges, by inserting and pushing it in till it locks in the printer.
If you are still having issues please contact us at "sales@inkstation.com.au" with your invoice/order number.
Is there an Inkstation shop in Bunbury W.A. and location ? Thanks
Hi Ron888 I don't know if there is a physical store in your area but they have online orders and from experience with them they generally deliver within 3 days..
Thanks for your reply, Merry Xmas
Hey Ron888, unfortunately as we are purely an online retailer, we do not have any physical locations for collections/pickups/walk ins etc.
Thanks!

I have a relatively new HPOfficejet Pro 8020 Printer, I had bought original printer cartridges from you but then you supplied me with cartridges (Printec Imaging H-955XL) which you said were compatible. Initial printing was good but then I found that the coloured print was not as good as with the original HP cartridges. I no longer have a functioning printer, the print quality is very poor, illegible ,blotchy and basically inappropriate. I have considered buying an alternate brand to see if this gives better results, what is your advice. Thank you Carol
My ink order arrived promptly, but it's generic, and modern printers automatically detect if the cartridge is authentic brand or not. So have I blown my money? I have a new HP printer.
I put a generic one in yesterday and it working perfectly.Im sure youll be ok. Good luck
Good to know! Thanks for the response. My last printer didn't have a little screen telling me that authentic HP cartridges have been validated. Cross fingers for when my starter cartridges run out. :-D
I have been using generic cartridges on both my Brother & HP Printers and they work perfectly. Yes they do detect that it is a generic cartridge, but if you acknowledge this and then press continue - will work perfectly.
Good news, the generic cartridges are just fine. The little screen simply notes the the cartridges have been used previously, and no problem with being able to print. Bad news, the HP included cartridges lasted for fewer than 40 pages, which is pretty lame. Glad I ordered replacements from Ink Station at the same time that I ordered the printer. The ink arrived a day before the printer! :-D
I have an Epson Stylus TX400 & purchased 3 E-732N cartridges for it however there seems to be a mixing problem as the printing no comes out in mottled colours. Does this mean the Epson and your cartridges can't be used together?
Sorry, I can't help our Epson printer is an XP-235 therefore not able to comment.
Hey Ray,
Try running the headclean and alignment functions of your printer.
