I have a 2014 Jayco Silverline Outback,my problem is when I turn the 12v power on for the lights they come on for 30-60 seconds & then turn off for 30-60 seconds + when i first turn any light switch on 1 light comes on in the bathroom & then switches off while all others stay on ,this continues for 5 minutes & then turns off totally.Has anyone got a fix for this problem.(batteries fully charged, replaced battery's in light switches, checked all fuses all good) Any info would b good ,thanks Owen.
I had a similar problem with a power supply in our camper. The only fix with ours was to draw more power from the unit. It probably isn't the same but there may be something in your set up than can be adjusted so that it doesn't 'automatically switch off' due to not being required. Reg. john
I own a jayco eagle 2016 the glass door is starting to come away in parts what sort of sealant do I use Thanks jillian
I own a 2019 jayco journey outback, it is plugged in to 240 volts. The power points are working in the van but everything else is running on 12 volt which flattens the battery in a couple of days.(Caravan is parked inside a shed so no solar panels are working) Does anyone have an idea on what’s going on?
Why cant my brand new Jayco motorhome pass rego so I can take it home
Hi everyone I have a Starcraft Outback 19.6" I bought this new in 2014 I have just noticed water coming in the van at the bed head area under the front window, but I haven't been able to locate the area the water is getting in does anyone have any ideas, please I'm getting desperate.
Jayco is one of the worst caravans for leaking water down the walls and at the front of the van where the two fiberglass pieces meet there is a joining strip and due to expansion and contraction water leaks into the van at the bed head.
Had just decided to purchase a Jayco Crosstrack and planning to have a last look at the product at the Mornington racecourse during the upcoming caravan and 4x4 show. Fortunately I've just spent an hour reading your customers one and two star reviews and have decided to take my business elsewhere
Good choice Michael, they are not the product they were. We had several secondhand Silverlines 2015 / 2016 models but Our first new caravan 12/2020 purchased in 12/2021 (showroom van) was a complete dissappointment. The workmanship and detail was crap considering they advertise their Jayco Silverline as the “Flagship” model. We had several things go wrong within the first 12 months, the waiting to get in was unreal. The after sales service I had on one paticular issue was crap. My front overhead cupboards were sagging a bit in the middle. Took it to a Jayco dealer only to be told they couldnt fix it. But what they did do is jack the cupboard up as far as they could by using and bending my plastic sink cover and screwing braces in. I was told that the cupboards were up on the roof as far as they can go due to the way they were made. It still had the sag. We had other issues as well. We got rid of it and are now in the process of purchasing another one, definately not a Jayco.
We have a 2017 21'6 Jayco silver line with front kitchen. When we have our door open, we cannot open the windows, can the door be put the other way, or do u have any other ideas
Hello Jayco, I am eagerly waiting for my first van, a Penguin Outback, fully spec'd out. Ordered in June, I was initially told that the van would be here before Christmas. It is now mid Jan. I am told that the van is finished, but Jayco are experiencing shipping problems, and will be expected some time in January. I haven't heard anything yet, but with your experience and inside knowledge, what would be the expected time delay at the moment?
What would be the approximate wait be for a 21.66 journey.mid North Coast area?
No idea. Perhaps contact the dealers.
We are trying to locate the break away battery to charge it in our 2013 Jayco base station- does anyone know where it is located.

Best to ring a JAYCO service dept as model is not familiar.
In a 1993 Jayco Swan Camper van, is the water that runs down the telescopic lift arms supposed to run inside the van?
Can anyone help me with how to fill the two water tanks in our Jayco Journey Deluxe Poptop - we have been unable to fill the second tank, and as we do a lot of free camping, we need the second tank full of water - 40 litres is not enough, and as we bought the van with two tanks and 80 + litres of water, we would like to be able to get that into the tanks. We understand they are bottom fillers, so of course, there is never going to be any water in the second tank. How do other people overcome this issue? Thanks Chris
