Can I start my 2022 d90 with the ket fob flat
Hi, I have a 2023 d90 and want to install a light bar but I need to find the right headlight adapter so it can come off the high beam switch but no one including ldv seem to be able to steer me in the right direction.
Anyone service there's themselves? There any secrets that you have to be careful of?
The ldv D90 is dead easy to do service yourself. The oil drain plug is a 15mm hex nut and its facing the front of the car reachable without getting under the car. Put castrol 5w30 5L in. I change it every 5000km and the filter every 10 000km. The filters i get from aliexpress Hana filter are 100 Bux for 10 pack. Prety much any 5w30 oil is fine if you change it every 5000km. Mine has done 60 000km and engine still like new Brake pads are easy too but you need a impact drill

Every time I start the car 2025 ldv d90 I have to turn the radio on.Is there a way it comes on automatically when engine started
How do you reduce the volume of the sensor speakers?
which sensor speakers do want to reduce the volume
actually i should have said which sensors are you referring to, i believe the speakers are set to optimize the volume so as to over come any traffic noise or when and if you have the radio up full bore, it may be possible to have the volume reduced when at service im happy with the volume
Hi guys I have a 22 diesel exec done 120,000 at about 70,000. Notice what sounded like worn tire. Noise put up till 110 put new tyres on Noise still there only at Low speed anyone else had this problem?
2022 has anyone else had their engine blown and be told you need a full replacement
Define blown also petrol or diesel and under what circumstances how many Klm is it covered under warranty just curious
We have a diesel dealing with them at moment about if they will cover saying they will not done 95,000
I am waiting for a full report from them with more details
2025 MY D90 4wd. Had original tow bar installed. When plugged in the wiring harness, rear parking sensors are disabled, which is fine as it is meant to be. But I noticed Cruise control, Lane keeping, Forward collision prevention and blind spot assist are also disabled as well and u can't turn them on until the trailer plug is disconnected. Is this normal?
what do you mean by original tow bar, reversing sensors should continue to work, most likely a short to earth or ground, did you have a hot wire run also as this could be back feeding into the loom if not connected on the correct terminal, was the correct loom used to the plug on the vehicle or just tapped into the wiring, I took my d90 to the local tow bar fitter that was recommended by the dealer where i purchased d90, I double checked my 12 pin electrical connection so that the configeration matches the caravan plug best of luck
Original as in ldv. Rear parking sensors are automatically disabled when u plug in the trailer plug as otherwise it will sense your trailer and will keep beeping. This is a standard arrangement!
Can you rollback the cruise control to just normal and not the adaptive which can be a safety risk when travelling at speed and it decides to slow down for no reason and you have a B double on your tail.
infotainment system doesn’t show up anything. It’s just blackout but sometime it start working by itself but most of the time you just say black like dead screen.

This might be ridiculous but I can’t seem to plug anything into the 220v power outlet in the back seat it’s as tho there is a lock or something in there not allowing the plug to insert any help please
you need to use a 3 pin plug, the earth pin unlocks so as to insert the plug, i used the old style piggy back plug then you can plug in the 2 pin plug
My 6 month old petrol D90 stalls while I'm driving, battery light comes on, so I have to put it in to park and when I press the button it starts straight away. The engine was cold as I had only driven it for 10 mins I feel it's kind of dangerous, luckily it happened when I was driving through a carpark. Anybody else had this happen? My car is up to date with its services. Thanks
Jake T Hi I have a d90 2020 suv while driving on the highway approximately 100ks all of a sudden start loosing power slowly pulling of the road then it dies approximately 10mins goes by then I push the start button then it goes again anyone had this issue

petrol or diesel sounds like it went into lymph mode possibly due a system fault which could be anything, book it in for and check and let them pull up the codes

How do I turn on the red lights above the glove box and my doors? It was on and now it’s disappeared. Dec 2023 Ldv D90 executive diesel
they only come on when you have the lights set for auto on and after sunset only you try and cover the light sensor the middle of the dash but it has to be perfectly dark and then you may not see the red strip lights come on
I am having three same issue with said red lights (ambient) 2024 LDV D90 executive diesel. Lights are set to auto. Currently sitting in the pitch black no lights. Also no lights when locking but is set for 30s
I took my car to the dealer as I only brought it 6 months ago. They did a reset on my car. Then I was told it comes on at night only. I haven’t driven it at night so I guess I’ll see what happens.
We just had our car in the dealership for other reason and it had to go back for another week, dealership has been awesome. Our issues are mostly tech related. Our car is also only 6 months old. Having issues with Qlink so they factory reset everything and still doesn't work. Also our dash is bubbling also, so LDV are replacing that and putting a new screen in. So no complaints about LDV themselves, sometimes things happen.
Hi I just purchased the new LDV D90 4x4 Exec 2025.
My speed limit assist doesn’t seem to be working at all nothing is coming up on my dash and it’s enabled on the settings.
Also as I take off in the car I get a notification saying seatbelt unfastened with the car symbol showing the red seats that are empty but showing white seats which have passengers but I am the only passenger.
My front sensors seem to work when I’m driving I can see the cars on my dash but in my attempts to front park I haven’t had any sensors go off and I’ve been pretty close to other cars so I just reverse park in.
The blind spot assist I get the light flashing on the side mirror as cars approach to my sides but nothing else, no sound, not sure if there was supposed to be anything additional or that is the feature.
Has anyone else had these issues? I’ve emailed the salesmen at the dealership I purchased the car in hopes this is just a quick software update issue and easily rectified.

speed assist is not active if cruise control is, also ive noticed some other system settings block out other settings , it took me some time to get the front radar to operate by trial and error, the seat belt light will flash if none of the other seats are occupied there shouldnt be any warning sound and the light should go out once your on the move, the blind spot does not have sound, the manual does not go into detail or explain all these features or how they operate or dont, took me weeks to work it all out and get the settings the way i prefer its a matter of trial and error, hence why i have joined this group because the dealer technicians have no idea what is what. best of luck
Thankyou that has really helped me out. May I ask what group you have joined? Might be worth me joining it too. It’s all very confusing so many things this car does. I couldn’t work it out . I wouldn’t even know how to turn cruise control off. But I think it may be on as I have the little circle to the left that mimics my speed on while I drive.
I have the new D90 excetative can anyone please explain how to use the 4x4 features and when do I need to use diff lock buttons I wasctokd everything comes on automatically I don't havecto touch anything from the dealer. But I others haven't old me different
I have no problem with the sensors doing their job but is there a way of reducing the volume when you get near an object like a fence/garage door or another car?
I asked the same question at 1st service and if the reversing sensor could be isolated when towing a caravan, the technicians didnt know or they didnt understand the questions mainly cause none of them could speak a word of english, but i havent given up
I have a LDV D 90 Executive Deisel 2023. The sensors are good but how do you reduce the volume when the sensors get near and object like a fence /garage door/ another car?
I am having issues with my cruise control picking up every incline in hill, guard rail and sign and hitting the breaks on highways, i have taken it back to the dealership who cant confirm if its a fault or just sensitive radar. Does anyone else have an issue with theirs? 2024 LDV D90 2WD
yeh had that issue a few times, on a incline the radar has no obstacle to detect, the radar works like this it sends out a signal and relies apon a obstacle to reflect it back and then actionns the result and with the guard rails if the rails are realy shiney or dull it has a effect on the reflectionn back but what i hate about it is when your in cruise control and you come to a bend and picks up a vehicle on the other side or nothing the brakes are applied so what i do now i press the cancel button before the bend then reactivate cruise control when back to normal, BTW its not a fault of the vehicle so much, I had the same issue with a company car ford everest did the same thing hope this helps
one more thing on a incline the angle of the incline has a effect on the radar its self like it thinks your too close and actions accordingly
