Has anyone learned how to turn the dangerous adaptive cruise control off in a new LDV D90?
Hi Bev yes it is dangerous, we enquired about turning it off and it can’t be turned off, we nearly had an accident in ours, the only thing you can do is sell the car like we did, we only had it 4 months lost money on it and had to pay out another $7000 to get another car, we bovught a safe Haval. My advice to anyone is DONT BUT A LDV D90 I don’t suppose they will refund our difference in money, they are a very dangerous vehicle, I’m surprised no one has had an accident yet, however perhaps they haven’t sold many. That adaptive cruise control should be taken out of the car,. Sorry you did read my review before you bought the car.
Surely it's only a computer program. If they can put it in then they can take it out. Good luck with the newie.. LDV should compensate for your loss.
