Please I confirm every detail of others. No return service. Snooze deal with problems as if following a script and will bully you. Please be careful

Purchased June 2020. Two long single adjustable mattresses and bases. Unfortunately the adjustable mattress did not come in plush so we went with medium, but it is very hard I have been to osteopath a couple of time with sore shoulders and back. My husband as well. Can you recommend mattress topper to add a bit of softnes?

no idea, I get sore shoulders and back as well. my partner seems to be fine. we are both side sleepers. ours is "medium". we called snooze they suggested that Madison can remove the top and replace it with a firmer top for 1k HA yeah wont be doing that. will probably sell the matress and cut the lose and buy a sleeping duck.

Has anyone had their mattress returned to the factory to have it checked with any success.

Yes. Apparently it was faulty. But... It feels exactly the same after they've replaced the comfort layers. What a joke. It's just a really bad mattress

They made it so difficult for us to try and get it back to the factory to be checked we gave up and bought another mattress.

Does anyone have one of these and how good are they? I'm over trying to buy a mattress that that is any good.

Hi there Our Madison is slowly but surely on the way out the door. Actually into the guest bedroom. I expect much more from a so called premium mattress. We went looking and chose this because it was the most comfortable of about a dozen we “tried out”. DISSAPOINTED look elsewhere. We’re looking at Latex to try and avoid the spring sagging thing.

We bought a Times Square mattress 2 years ago and are very happy with the comfort but we both get hot whether it is winter or summer and it is causing disruptive sleep. This has been since we bought it. Can you please advise how we can remedy?

Emm

Hi Sandy Sorry, I don't have that issue. I do get quite hot when I sleep normally (in any bed) but I have found that this mattress works well for me. Do you use a pillow top mattress protector, or a protector made of artificial fabric? If so, that might make you hotter? I just use a basic mattress protector which is quite thin.

Have you tried different sheets e.g. cotton ones?

Other than that, you could go to the store you bought it from and ask if they have any recommendations to help you sleep more coolly.

Thank you Emm. Yes, we have a protector. Will have a look at that, someone suggested using the wool underlay, not sure about that.

Hi Sandy. This appears to be an issue with many modern mattresses because of the now commonplace use of memory foam etc. Most people don’t seem to find it a problem but, like you, it’s a real issue for me. After a lot of research, I solved it by creating a barrier between me and my Times Square mattress, which limits the mattress's heat absorption. Bamboo is excellent for that and I began with a bamboo mattress protector from Ettitude. That improved things but I was hoping for more. I now have an Ikea Rosendun mattress protector (which is 50% lyocell – another good heat resistant barrier) underneath the bamboo one. I also decided to buy bamboo sheets (they weren't as effective as the two mattress protectors, so I would put them last on anyone's action list). The problem is now solved and there hasn’t been a night since where I’ve felt uncomfortably warm. I hope this solution works for you. By the way, I tried a wool underlay as part of my research but it only made matters worse (even though many claim that it makes you feel cooler in summer). Regards, John

Thank you so much John, did you buy the Ettitude protector online or is it available in stores? Regards Sandy

Oh thank you! I finally find other people with the same problem... I am desperate! I bought this mattress for my daughter whilst she was waiting for spinal surgery - a little over my budget but my friend had one she bought years ago and it seemed excellent.. it turns out the mattress has been 'improved' by the manufacturer since and my daughter just sweats so much she can't sleep.. I'm still paying the mattress off, I am so upset not knowing what to do

Is it ok to sleep on the flip side e.g the non latex side?

We have had the Madison time Square mattress for a couple of years at first we found it firm but good support but from day one we found it too hot even with the special mattress cover sold to us at the time. We are now waking with back and neck pain and even in winter it is hot to sleep on. In summer with 30 degrees over night its uncomfortable to sleep. We have a good slat base and tonight we are trying to sleep on the non cushioned side to see if it makes a difference.

Unfortunately I believe the reverse side isn't made for sleeping on. Maybe call the store you brought it from first to check. I raised my concerns with the Snooze at the time I purchased mine about the latex and that I am a naturally hot sleeper and the sales girl recommend 400thread count sheets and cotton doona to help air flow and I haven't had any issues except on super hot nights which obviously nothing helps unless you have air con.
