Mazda CX-3 DK.III sTouring FWD, 2.0L Petrol, Automatic (2018-2023) Questions & Answers
I know there were AC issues with the 2016 models. I'm wondering if anyone is experiencing this with newer models. I have a 2019 and it has started making a leaking sound which I can hear in the cabin and the AC doesn't blow cold air anymore. I'm still under warranty but the dealer has said they will run diagnostics and if they can't find a fault I will have to pay. But it sounds very similar to the earlier problems Mazda had with AC's.
When I was at the Dealer getting CX-3 Serviced about 3yrs ago I mentioned - the a/c wasn’t working correctly (not cooling properly). I was told there was an issue with the a/c& the part would be replaced No Charge (my vehicle was out of Warranty). A/C has been working perfectly for the last 3 years. My Reverse Camera not working properly, Mazda Australia have advised last week via Media & Radio - that owners of CX-3 & 3 will be advised in writing from Mazda Australia the Camera is to be replaced because it is dangerous (something to do with the Wiring) On receipt of letter to take vehicle to a Dealer. Plus my Entertainment Screen not working properly - I researched on web. USA there is a fault with the Unit (built between 2016-2018). They have been replaced by Mazda in USA - no mention of this problem in Australia from MAZDA. From 2016 virtually ALL CX-3 were no longer built in JAPAN - they are all assembled in Thailand. If you look on the Consignment Plate there is a Code if you look up the Code it will tell you which Country a vehicle has been Built/Assembled. Querying your A/C you should definitely contact Mazda Australia in Melbourne & do some research on web…this is how I found out the entertainment Units were faulty. This is my 1st Mazda, having always had Toyotas …disappointed with my Mazda. Dealers only act on behalf of Mazda Australia theyvare the Boss.
Never had an issue.
