I have been dealing with Error 30 for over a month. I live in CA and I bought my Greaser through Surface604.com in Canada. At first, their customer serve was great and they helped me with an Error 13 code. Unfortunately, Error 30 has been more of a challenge. After going through a series of try this, try that to no avail, I stripped the bike and mailed all the parts to them ($650 for shipping). They said it was a bad wiring harness; so they were supposed to mail me a good harness but it comes back marked as the bad harness and I still have the same Error. It's been 5 days with no reply. Now I'm worried about getting stuck (when it's fixed) and limited customer service.
Hiya, does anyone know where I can purchase a new battery for 500 W grease a bike in Queensland Australia please?
ebay, had to change the battery holder with supplied one with the new battery. bike shop was $600 plus and I had to get 3. one from bike shop was exactly the same as ebay. I had to use a smaller bolt on the middle tank hole as new battery wasn't an exact size, but very close.

Error 5 can be related to a bad electrical connection within the wiring harness, i suggest cleaning all electrical plugs with an electrical cleaner and applying some Dielectric grease on the plugs prior to reconnecting the plugs. (Original comment from the original Australian distributor who is no longer connected to MB)

Any multitude of ways, depends on the light. You can get them that fit just about anywhere on any part of the frame that suits

Hi y'all. I'm living in the netherlands an i recently bought my greaser springer 250w. It all went smoothly until i charged the battery for the first time. It charged normally but the next day when i went for a ride the electric engine did not work. I did a factory reset but now it changed my advanced settings. Can anyone tell me what the advanced setting should be. The settings i do know are 32km/h. Current limit was 15a. But on the battery it says 13a. Should i put that on 13a? Assist level is 5. That is correct. The one thing i don't know is the poles in motor option. It says 06 but is that correct?

If you are anywhere but Australia - I do not know. If you are in Australia; Lovett Industries was the original Australian distributor of Michael Blast and Conrad Lovett was apparently involved in their design and was very active on social media including here. However he has sold the distributorship and is no longer involved in anything to do with MB from what I understand. However there is a new distributor and I am not certain the reason for the delay in take over, seems to have been a messy change over. The new Australian distributor is set to begin in August 2022 they tell me. You may be able to get what you need from overseas distributors since there is technically no aussie one till the new guy takes over properly. You can also contact the MB factory on FB its under “Michael Blast Factory”. That’s the Chinese factory for MB but I’ve found they can often point you in the right direction.
We just got our 500W greaser springer. Plugged it in to charge overnight. Light on the charger changed from red to green. Bike will not turn on. No display on the screen. On the battery itself - inside the tank compartment - there are no lights showing on the battery. Now what? Left messages @ michael blast, messenger & email.
I have a greaser springer and it shuts down while riding with a full charge:if i remove and replace the battery everything works again, have contacted MB directly via email numerous times but received no reply!
Hi Mark we found your email and we replied on the 7/7/21 which was less than 24hrs after you had sent your question through. Received 6/7/2021 I bought this bike several months ago of a couple that said the bike was fine,turns out itis not,the bike stops ater a sh oirt while after a full charge,remove the battery and restart,all is good,any ideas,Mark.

It could be - Dirty connections on the main battery terminals - Loose connection in the electrical harness - Faulty Main Controller
How long does it take for the bike to turn off? is the amount of time always the same?

Thanks for the reply, all the terminals are clean and have been checked many times; and yes it seems to go for about 10 minutes then the screen goes blank; what would be the price of a main controller? regards Mark.

I have a Greaser and the other day out riding the motor just shut down and stopped acceleration. Battery LED still working and battery still charged but no acceleration. Any thoughts?? I'm too scared to go riding again as it's a heavy bike to ride home with no assistance. I think I'd go backwards down hills!!! Help!!

Hello from PQ. Canada, I purchased my greaser 3 years ago, and I just love it and it is still going great, the only issue was it came with a bad duro rear tire which made the ride a little bumpy and eventually punctured the air tube, I managed to purchase a set of 26 x 3 in. duro whitewalls from a guy in California, the last set on earth it seems, but was unable to find 3 in. inner tubes anywhere, I applied a couple of patches and mounted a new tire and it rides beautifully now. Also, there is a small but annoying issue with the chain rubbing against the rear tire side when in first and second gear leaving a black grease stripe on the white side, no rubbing from third up, I did not find any way to remedy this, maybe you have a suggestion, spacers or something. Michael Blast greaser is a timeless design, it has been one of the best purchases I ever made. Cheers! Charles
Own a Greaser for almost 2 years. Mileage less than 200 mostly on battery. Live in Florida and bike never ridden on wet roads. Stored indoors under A/C. Few months ago controller screen started showing blotchy black spots that would come and go. After the last charge screen came on with the blotches and turned off almost immediately to never come on again leaving me with a dead bike. I have left it a few weeks and today plugged the charger in and it shows green as it did when the issue started not red. Questions, how to test the batteries, is there a fuse that could have blown or is it the controller gone bad. Any help would be appreciated.
Hi Ray, thanks for reaching out. From what you have explained, It does sound like the internal fuse on the charge port side of the battery has blown, It could be that the wire that runs from the tank to the battery is shorting causing the internal fuse to blow. Or that there was a power surge through the charger at one point that has caused the 5amp fuse to blow.
Either way, it sounds like it would be on the battery side, either internal fuse or BMS issue.
