i would like one that gives the sinking or cloud feeling but not to the point where it does not fully follow one's body shape,and thus gives support where its needed from what reviews are saying i light person loses that and talks of a hard mattress feel condition from that situation

I would hate to get the wrong one as there does not seem to be a favorable resolution with your conditions under these conditions

most box bed sellers offer a replacement or money back if it does not come up a buyer's reason to purchase

Hi Robyn, to my knowledge, the matress utilises comfort foam (no memory foam or latex or animal products), and five-zone pocket spring technology. The matress is described as covered with a stretch-knit fabric. Not sure if that is synthetic or cotton or a blend. The topper is made of 100% Japara cotton fabric that is hypoallergenic, odourless, HealthGuard treated and Oeko-Tex certified. The website describes in greater detail: external link

Hi Judith, yes it can be used but be aware it won't bend as well as a mattress designed specifically to suit an adjustable bed. We can make the foam box with hinge shaped cut outs to help with flexibility- it's an extra cost.

Hi Brian, thank you for your enquiry. Correct we used twice-tempered pocket springs that provide unparalleled support to keep you well aligned. There are high-density comfort layers in the top, that provide a pressure relieving, comfortable feel. Many customers provide feedback indicating that our mattress minimises partner disturbance. Some people go the extra measure to eliminate partner disturbance and get a split-king configuration which combines 2 x long single size beds connected with a zip. Queen size is $2,500. Although I wouldn't classify the mattress as ' soft ' it is certainly a lovely feel when used with the topper that comes with the package. After sales service is excellent as well . Good luck with your purchase.

Thanks Kyle and MicroCloud for your response. I have already been in touch and am close to ordering. Just wary after our last (very expensive and uncomfortable) mattress purchase!

My husband and I are very similar weight to you guys so we're kind of a 'like match' in terms of weight. I love the new mattress and it's quite unique in that it doesn't really feel hard or soft. You feel completely supported like the benefit of a hard mattress but the design of the mattress doesn't make it feel too firm. the mattress topper makes it really comfortable like you are on a cloud 'Microcloud'. It's hard to explain. We had our old mattress for 18 years and it was a really expensive Sealy. It was fine. No complaints. But it seriously doesn't compare to the Microcloud; the Microcloud feels altogether different to any mattress I've ever laid on. You won't regret it. I'm a side sleeper too, and I find it's a lot better on my hips; and I do weight lifting (I know, this sounds strange for a petite 55kg woman, but I deadlift 85kg) so it's important my joints feel good on the mattress. Thanks Kelly! Great to hear from someone who is a similar weight. I don't weightlift but have a very physical job so definitely looking for something supportive, but at the same time comfortable.
