My daughter is 4 months old, has been on Nan HA1 since 6 weeks after she fell sick on optipro and perlagon. My worry is that she's not gaining weight. Her 14 week clinic visit weight was 5.8 and at 4 months it remained unchanged.

Hi I bought Nan 2 instead of NAN 3 for my 18 month daughter. Can i give her the NAN 2 until tin is empty or must i buy NAN 3. Will it effect her tummy?

Rochelle Sunarya

It's still ok, but you can always swap it if you have not open it. As for my son, he had it from when he was 3wks old, the same product up to Nan 3. As long as she had the same product Nan 2 it should be ok.

Can I freeze powdered NAN HA Gold in the freezer to prolong shelf life? We won’t be able to get through a tin in 3 weeks as I am using Nan to top up with breastmilk if LO is still hungry or I’m not producing enough. If it can be frozen, for how long? Thanks

Sorry, I am not sure. I have never heard of people freezing it so you may need to ask your health nurse or email the manufacturer.

Hi, To be honest with you, I am not at all expert in this area. I write the reviews just based on my personal experience. My baby is only 2 months old and I found NAN HA1 Optipro to be working very well for her. We follow the instruction written on the tin.

Thanks,

Abhi

We have given our daughter Nan optipro gold 1 from birth, the nan optipro gold 2, you changed product and price, on Nan optipro 2, she is now 11 months and on her 1st night of optipro 3. its less expensive and we dont feel so bad about the waist. Is this ok,,, and why is it so less expensive then optipro 2.

Chaitot
Chaitot

The answer is simple, when babies starts growing/gets older the more milk they need to drink,so you will need to buy more. Your 1 tin may only last for 3-4 days

Bernie

I can buy Nan optipro gold 2 and it costs $29.95, or Nan pro Toddler 3 for only $17.95. The price difference is high. Hence my 11 month old bub is now taking Nan pro Toddler 3 and doing v well. Not so worried about waste. I still dont understand such a large price difference however.
