Hi all, Reliability ISSUE: The 2.4Ghz Wifi drops out OR the router asks for the WIFI (2.4/5Ghz)password again, but keeps asking even with the right ones, until I power cycle it. It's not my NBN connection(Network) I have troubleshooted it several times with Internode, who also know & have an online guide for this modem. Firmware has manually been updated to the latest one from Netgear's website, even after each factory reset. Has anyone found a fix or workaround for a similar problem with this or another Netgear router? Besides replacing the router with a different brand :) ?

Thank you for your time reading. Rex

Mine has run without any problems since I purchased it, although comments here concern me! Router is connected to PC by ethernet but I have 5 other things connected wirelessly. Have you checked your settings? I would attach a copy of mine but no option to upload, however channel should be set to auto and wifi password goes in twice, once for 2.4g and againfor 5g

Is it ready for NBN?

Yes, but the router has multiple firmware issues and it's not worth the risk for such an expensive product. Look elsewhere.

I have NBN over copper via old phone line. Will this modem router connect to this?

Yes this router will work with NBN FTN.

Yes it will. Just remember you only get free customer support for 90 days. After 90 days of purchase if you have any problems you will not get any assistance. I would search for a cheaper alternative. This is very expensive and your not getting your money’s worth with this product.
