I have an older slimline panel heater which has been seldom used. Until recently it worked well but now the timer shows all days and times etc and the heater will not switch on. The red light on the programme timer is on and occasionally I see the thermostat light flick on but it won’t stay on and heat up. I’ve tried to RST and RCL but can’t figure it out. I’ve tried unplugging etc but it won’t come back on. Please help!
Good morning, Ange. Thank you for your enquiry regarding your Nobo panel heater E4EU12. If you can please supply your email address so I can get some further information. Kind regards Nobo Team
Our nobo has been stored for at least 15 years. We are going to use it again but noticed the temperature dial has broken off.. can we get another one????? Ray
Hi Raymond, I'm sorry to hear of this. That part is no longer available. Thanks
Hi, I have E4EU 073062A 1X. Suddenly, without changing anything, the timer panel faded and the radiator stoped heating. It does not react to the switch on/off, thermostat, nothing. The light if off. Is there an inbuilt battery that could have died? Or, How can we fix this issue?
Hi Hamed, Thank your for your question and I'm sorry to hear of this. You can try the below to reset it: 1- Turn the panel heater off, leave the power point on for 20 minutes. 2- Turn on the heater, hit the reset button on the timer. If this des not work for you it may the regulator to be changed. Thanks
Thanks. It didn’t work. What is the regulator? And how can i change it?
Hi Hamed, it is a component that has the switch. For this to be replaced you would require a qualified person to access it and do it if needed. Thanks
hi - on the Nobo E4EU 700-750W model my display has died, consequently no heat from the heater, it was fitted in a second home that was used a couple of times a year, the display works occasionally but overnight fails when the electricity is restored in the morning...there is a tiny battery responsible for the memory of the display soldered near a tiny thermistor on a circuit board at the bottom of the heater. The green sleeving of the battery was also in a bad state. I have read the fault is with the battery and that they are easily purchased for about £5 online - I understand that a 1.2v ni-mh with solder tags is required, I will be changing it when I get home from the second home with the heater. Keep you posted - John
Hi John, thanks for your info. Hamed
Is this model heater energy efficient? I have seen negative efficency comments on other models. We have moved into a rented house which has them and im not sure whether to use. Dont want an electricity bill fright!! Thanks!
Hi Clare, Thank you for your question. Overall they are efficient to run and used to heat up and maintain a space of approximately 12m². To get specific cost you may need to refer to your energy bill to see the rate per kilowatt hour. Thanks
Hi my Timer and thermostat are not staying on. I have reset the clock and timer but it disappears and now I can't reset the clock at all. I have followed all the hints you have offered other owners with the same or similar issues. It does come on from anything from 3minutes to 20minutes IF I keep pressing the manual over ride. I am a shift worker so have always used the times and often changed the setting without any issues. Any ideas. I really do not won't to have to take it to a repairer(it is also the middle of winter and I rely on the product to be non defective given the cost) Thanks
Hi Adele, please can you contact us at customer.care@glendimplex.com.au so that we can assist you.
Nobo were little help. One of ours just restarted. We now operate on manual override. The other is dead. Nobo service agent useless so we bought a new heater without timer for about the cost of a repairer just to look at it with no guarantee of a successful outcome.
The power is on and I have been able to reset the screen To 0:00 but I still have no heat and lights are not in
HI Trish, Please try the following. For the E4EU series the reset procedure is Turn thermostat up to 30 degrees With a pen press in the small hole below the RST on the right hand side and take the pen out Then press the timer button and the over/hand button together and release. Then press the over/hand button until man on shows up on the screen.
It should then work.

Hi my thermostat does not light up and no lights are on the unit not working how do I rest or change battery if there is one?
Help please.
Hello Phil
The issue that you are referring to may just require a simple reset on the timer. Please call us on 1300 556 816 and we will be happy to go through the reset procedure over the phone with you.
Our Nobo panel heater E4EU123 is not working. The power light is on, there is a "00:00" type of display on the timer, but it can't be set or changed. We have left the power turned on for quite some time to see if the batteries recharge and have pressed 'reset' all to no avail. There is no display on the timer (from battery backup) when the wall power point is switched to 'off'. Can you please advise? We purchased the heater in 2009.
Sounds like you need to ask retailer for after sales help.
I would have suggested hitting the reset but since you have already done so I cant help any further, sorry.
Please try and reset your panel heater with the following instructions: Turn the thermostat up to 30 degrees. With a pen press in the small hole below the RST on the right hand side and take the pen out.
Then press the timer button and the over/hand button together and release.
Then press the over/hand button until 'man on' shows up on the screen.
These steps should clear the timer.
