Hi, How much juice can the optimum 600 yield? I also plan on juicing ingredients such as beetroot, carrots and ginger, was wondering if that was possible with that machine.
Hi! Thanks for reaching out Yes, the Optimum 600M Cold Press Juicer is perfect for juicing ingredients like beetroot, carrots, and ginger. It’s specifically designed to handle hard vegetables and even leafy greens, thanks to its slow masticating system that operates at a low 40–45 RPM. This helps extract the maximum juice while preserving nutrients and enzymes.
How much juice can it yield?
The Optimum 600M typically yields around 600ml of juice per session, though the actual amount will depend on the type and quantity of produce. For example, you might get slightly less juice from beetroot compared to softer fruits like citrus. But the juicer is designed to extract more juice with less pulp, giving you an efficient yield with every use. Because it uses slow‑juicing technology, it’s able to produce about 10–20% more juice with less pulp compared to standard juicers.
Can it juice beetroot, carrots, and ginger?
Absolutely! You can juice beetroot, carrots, and ginger without a problem. For best results, I recommend cutting the beetroot and carrots into smaller 3cm pieces that fit the feed tube. Ginger can be a bit strong, so you might want to start with smaller amounts. Alternating harder ingredients like ginger with softer ones can help maintain smooth juicing.
After juicing, the Optimum 600M is easy to clean and maintain, so you can quickly get back to your next juice creation! Let us know if you need any more tips or recipe ideas!
Hi, Thank you so much for the detailed response! This was so helpful. Would the optimum 600 be a suitable option if i planned on juicing 3 Litres of juice per week?
Hi there! You’re absolutely welcome — we are really glad the info was helpful. The Optimum 600M Cold Press Juicer can definitely handle around 3 litres of juice per week, and many customers use it for that amount with great results.
That said, if you want to save more time and make the process even smoother, we are happy to recommend the Optimum 600XXL. It has a larger feed chute and higher output, so you spend less time prepping and get your juice faster — perfect if you’ll be juicing regularly every week.
Hi. Does the relatively small filter screen compromise the quality of the juice? Other juicers have a much larger filter screen surface area due to them being g a basket.
I have this juicer, and don't think it affects the quality. I have had a hurom and oscar before and don't think there is any difference.
Hello Aviva, As Helene mentioned, this does not affect the quality of the juice. We require to juice a small quantity per time so the juicer does not get clogged. Additionally, cut the ingredients into small pieces for a smooth process.
We hope this helps and please have a look at your videos for additional guidance: external link
Happy shopping, Froothie team
Hello can you put the parts in the dishwasher? For the optimum 600?
Hello, I always hand wash mine cause it is easy to clean but yes the parts are all dishwasher safe. It is an awesome machine.
Hello Alisha, We recommend cleaning it by hand. The jugs can be put in the dishwasher but the top rack. Happy juicing
just bought a juicer & it wont go
Hello Barbara,
Can you please clarify the issues you are facing with the juicer?
can you put a whole apple or orange, is the shute large fruit
Hello Jaspal, Great question and we recommend not adding whole fruits in the chute. Due to the chute not being that big, it is also not possible. Our advice is to add ingredients cut into smaller pieces to the juicer for the best results.
If you are looking for a juicer with a wider chute, please have a look at the Optimum H3000 2nd Gen or Optimum 600XXL: external link external link
Hope this helps and do not hesitate to contact us in case more assistance is needed.

Hi, I’m considering purchasing this model, just wondering what happens to the pulp while you’re juicing? Does it collect somewhere? I’m looking to buy a juicer for our family of 6 and don’t want one where I have to keep stopping to empty/clean frequently while making juices for the family. Thanks!
Hello Karana, That is actually a very great question. We are happy to inform you that this juicer has a juice outlet and a pulp outlet, meaning it will be separated from each other. To get a better overview of how this juicer is working, we will be sharing some videos and the manual below:

Besides making juices, you can also make ice creams and nut butters using the blind filter.
Hope this helps and if you have any further questions, feel free to reach out,
Froothie team.
the auger is stick and i can not remove it from the base i never had this problem before. Any help?
Hi Jerry, Many thanks for your questions and I am sorry you are facing these issues. Have you tried to soak it with lukewarm inside overnight? Or are there ingredients inside and therefore it is stuck?
Please let us know more so we can try to resolve the issue you are facing. :-)
Thanks, Froothie
This video was 90% useless. Did you cut the fruit/veg into a million pieces before juicing it?
Depending on the size of the fruit but i always cut into quarters.
Hi Lo,
Can you please let us know which video you are referring too?
In general, we highly recommend cutting the content into smaller pieces for a better juicer experience.
Wish you a happy day, Froothie team.

I've had my juicer for a couple of years and love it. Today when I went to use it, as soon as the smallest amount of fruit made its way between the fine juicer and the side of the juicer, it jammed. I could easily reverse it out but this problem continued. Does this mean the fine juicer has worn and I need to purchase a new part? Thanks for your advice. Barb.

Can you do orange juice with the Optimum 600m?
Yes you can but you will have to cut the skin off if you don't want the citrus from the skin
hi yes you can use it for orange juice but yes cut the skin off first. i prefer to use an electric citrus squeezer for orange juice as its quicker
Hello Pete Alex from Froothie international here First of all thank you for your question The Optimum 600M can definitely prepare orange juice and here is a video from our channel on how to - external link Hope this helps Best Alex
I've been trying to find instructions for how to make a smoothie with the optimum 600. A bit frustrating that the website states that it can make smoothies, but the manual and YouTube channel don't make a single mention of which strainer to use. I tried with the fine strainer today and it didn't go well. Any tips?
Optimum600 vs Nutribullet
Optimum is a cold pressed juicer very easy to use & clean & extremely quiet. My bullet is more like a mini blender so more suited to a smoothie or grinding nuts etc.
Hi Froothie team! After using the juicer for the past 2 years, an issue with the motor appeared, and it's not running anymore. I sent the juicer to the service center and it took them 6 months to have a look at what's wrong. As result, the motor needs to be replaced, but the problem is that they don't have it in stock and have no idea when it might be available. Honestly, I don't want to wait for another 6 months to get the juicer up and running... so maybe you could provide me with the information of what kind of motor is used for Optimum 600 3rd Generation and I can try to find it somewhere? In the manual, it only says that it's "200 Watts". Thanks!
PS: Apart from this issue, Optimum 600 is a great juicer.
Is the juicer dishwasher friendly?
Hello Elizabeth and thank you for your question No, we do not recommend putting the parts in the dishwasher Hope this helps Best Alex Froothie International

Gone from excited to receive my order to very worried this Looks like this is a scam, you show a totally different 600 in your promotion and are actually selling a different cheap inferior quality smaller machine which have terrible reviews and reports from customers re machines function ability performance and customer service. Its not the machine in the advert. Everything about this appears dodgy in advert states its the best machine with awards down below no award for the small one your fobbing off as the 600 in your adverts. Plus the site you say to go to for proof machine works does not exisist.
I'm not happy with this juicer because I stopped using it after a few months. It had a factory damage and I asked to send me the necessary parts. The company did it, but after that I couldn't get the juice Everything is ok, it looks like it is not broken, but the machine is constantly blocked and does not produce juice. I sent a message to the company, but nobody wanted to change it. I bought a juicer Breville and I'm happy now. I wasted money when I bought Optimum 600 juicer.
Hi Wendy, We offer a 30 day money back guarrantee on all our purchased products. So feel free to return it if it's not what you were after :) Our team are always happy to chat just give us a call on 1300 309 900. Or you can come check the products out at our office in Bayswater!

What is the diameter of the mouth of the feeding shute on the 600M model?
Hi Shelley It is not a round mouth but more like a rectangle with curved sides- it measures 4cm by 4.5 cm. An apple cut into 8 pieces would fit nicely. Hope this helps
Thank you Chris. I opted for the H3000 just in the last hour. I like the wide feeder and want it for leafy greens (apparently horizontal cold press is best) and for celery and carrots (less likely to get stuck.) Cheers, Shelley
Hello Shelley, Alex from Froothie here For the Optimum 600M: chute size - 3.8 x 4.8cm. Hope this helps :) Best Alex
el nutriforce , how many watt ??
Hi Marta, Alex from Froothie Team here. The Optimum NutriForce has a motor power of 1000W. If there is anything else I can assist you with, just let me know ;) Hope this helps Best Alex
great ! thankss how come the juice OP.600 is only 250 and the 3000 350 W ?
! is the PO600 and 3000 does exactly the same funtion ?? is the 3000 the motor will last longer ?? thankss
Hello Marta, can you clarify what you mean by "OP.600'" and by "3000" which blender are you referring to?
Hi, i watched a video on your website comparing the optimum 400 and 600. it was showing the optimum 600 can take whole fruits and vegetables. from the reviews and pictures this dosnt seem the case. It looks as though you have to chop the veggies. Can you please confirm.
Hello Sommer, You must've been confused by the older model 600 in our videos. We have the 600M's product image on the page and outline: "Not the 600M but older Optimum model juicers" "These videos showcase older Optimum model juicers and not the Optimum 600M"
Above the videos.
I'm sorry this was confusing but we'll shortly be releasing some great videos of the 600M and putting them on the page instead :)
The older Gen 1 600 juicer with the wider chute, although was great for whole fruits, was discontinued because of its downsides.
Vertical wide chutes like the Gen 1 600: - Yield less Juice - Have much more pulp
The 600M's advantages over the older Gen 1 600:
- Yields 10-20% more juice - Is much better for juicing leafy greens and celery - It's much more compact, easier to carry and store.
Also, there's very little to no pulp so you get a lovely smooth juice :)
However if you are looking for a vertical big mouth then the 400 Evolve might be the right juicer for you. external link
Where the Optimum 400 Evolve wins:
One of our NEWEST Juicers
Extra large 85mm chute that doesn’t require you to chop your fruits and vegetables into small pieces.
NO internal basket - which makes the juicer so much easier to clean and eliminates the need for cleaning brushes.
Produces up to 20% more juice and less pulp that most commercial slow juicers.
Vacuum Seal function that allows you to store larger batches of juice without the risk of oxidation or loss of nutrients.
At <60dB, the Optimum 400 Evolve is arguably one of the quietest juicers in the market.
One of the easiest juicers to assemble due to streamlined design.
Hope that helps :)
