I have a HS20-100 and the low level light is on,however the well is full,any suggestions please

I have an Orange pump with a controller which turns on when a tap is used. The pump will not turn on when a tap is turned on. I presume the controller is faulty. Suggestions?

Brand new SJ400-PM, pumps well but will jot turn off when taps off. No leaks. What could be the issue

We are an Orange Pump dealer. We see many e-commerce sellers sell bare pump only with no controller. If you only bought a bare pump, it won't turn off by itself. A press control is a cheap unit to make your pump turn on & off automatically and you can purchase it from anywhere. If you do have a controller in the system we can think of 2 possibilities. A faulty controller or you have a leak underground that you can't physically see. Over many years in the industry we only ever have 2 Orange Pumps with faulty controller, so it's more likely that you have a leak. If you have a ball valve right after the pump, you can turn the ball valve off to identify if the problem is in the pump itself or in the pipework after the ball valve. If the pump turns off after you have turned the ball valve off it means you have a leak somewhere in the system.

Thankyou for that. The pump was purchased by the property owner even though we had a pump with an air tank previously and requested this. We have since gone to the dealer he purchased from and deduced it is our evaporative aircon causing the issue.

I have the same issue as several other people mentioned. My pump turns on every minutes and stays on for 10 seconds. Any recommendations?

I have a SJ400PM which runs for 10 seconds, every 60 seconds. No leaks found. Driving me nuts.

I have an orange pump(3outlets) pump is intermittently operating with no outlets being used. Does not appear to leaking anywhere. Pump is 8 years old. Thanks Steve

Hi, does anyone know what the silver nail / rivet is on the bottom of the plastic screw in part connecting pump housing and top pump switch as is dripping water on and off is this common or not as I know nothing about these pumps it is a SJ400-PM model ?

YES its a pin that holds the union together. if you slide that pin out, the top controls can be repaired or serviced. Its a good design that allows you to change a position of the controls. If its leaking you probably need a new o'ring or need to reset the union, hope this helps

Hi our orange pump works ok but will not shut off.

I gave it a bit of a clean and it shut off but soon went back to not shutting off again.

Anyone got any ideas?

It sounds like the press control (the electronic part on top of the pump) may be faulty. You might be able to buy just the press controller but it could be cheaper just to buy a new pump. Contact Orange Pumps for assistance.

I have 2 Orange Pumps, one of which is a HJ400. Pump won't work at present and I can't locate my owner's manual - not sure if I ever received one. Where can I find owner's manual/operating instructions for HJ400, please?
