Hi, I am wondering if you routinely check whether or not a prospective franchisee or inspector has a history of being a disqualified builder, either due to breaches to the relevant building act, or through insolvency due to a domestic building insurance claim being made against them by a former homeowner

no response here but I did receive a reply on another review site, as follows: "Rapid has a large team that includes inspectors and support staff. It is not Rapids policy to investigate or discuss any of our staff's personal disputes or legal matters publicly. Rapid has a comprehensive National Inspector Framework that is calibrated to the relevant Australian Standards for the types of inspections that we perform. All Rapid inspectors must meet this standard and are assessed against this standard on a monthly basis. Ongoing training and up skilling ensures that Rapid inspectors are amongst the best and most qualified inspectors in the industry. Kind regards "

It is clear that this company actively scams its customers using inspectors with doubtful credentials and only modest photographic, drone operation, and observational skills - that's it. I see from this company review they are proficient in generating negative reviews of their "workmanship". This company needs to answer for their incompetence and dishonesty. I would like to form a coalition of dissatisfied customers with a view to taking action against them. If you're interested in exploring this action please contact me via DM. Thanks.

Hi Michael, We have decided to accept that we paid and received inferior workmanship and basically unless you go to QCAT or pay for lawyer, there is little you can do. This is what they count on too!! Conveyancer blames Inspection who states they did everything correct and no-one accepts accountability for the stress and financial impact it has on the consumer. US!! We have paid to right the wrongs with this property and are moving on....with a clear conscious. My mistake was.. I trusted this company...I trusted the conveyancer...and I'm foolish to think everyone has morals and high standards. This experience is not worth the ongoing anguish and I know I am right when I state Rapid Building Inspections should have flagged the orange electrical cable connected to colourbond fence at side and rear of our property. THIS IS A VISUAL OBSERVATION!!!! Don't expect them to be electricians but have common sense.....damn straight!! Happy to provide evidence of their incompetence if requested for your case. Still DISGUSTED!! Oh...and jobs for Building Inspectors currently advertised @ 90K ++ plus bonuses
