Hi I am looking at a Britain’s safe n sound guardian neo convertible car seat manufactured 2016. It looks like it is discontinued line. I just want to know how heavy a child can be and what kind of head support it has for the baby in rear and front facing. I can’t easily find that information. Thank you.
Hi Lisa M, thanks for your question. The Safe-n-Sound Guardian Neo complies with the 2013STD which is tested to age and height. The 2013STD does not have an entry or exit weight. The Safe-n-Sound Guardian Neo has deep side wings to provide added protection in the event of a crash. Love this carseat purchased last year for my son who is now 18mths. I was wondering what the width and height limit is as i will like to take it on the plane in december flying Air New Zealand. Will i need a certificate to prove its safety standards?

Hi I have broken the polystyrene in my seat how much is a replacement piece?
If it’s broken I’d be replacing the seat as it would no longer work properly.
What are the height and weight limits for this seat?

The shoulder height markers are positioned at approx. 350mm for the lower marker and approx. 410mm for the upper marker. Am interested up to what age people have been able to use this car seat? Our child is now 2.5 yrs old and we have it in a van we use in NZ... Are hoping she could still use it at 4.5 yrs old... Any feedback? What's the limitations of them outgrowing it?... They just aren't comfy anymore or their shoulders are above the strap line .. Or are there are other specific reasons? Seat says til 4 yrs or 18 kg.. She prob won't be 18 kg but is quite tall... ???
My average 3.8 year old is already at the top shoulder slot/marker for the guardian, she's only 14 kg and stands at 98cm tall

Yes you can. My friend enquired about this but didn't end up go ahead with it as it cos almost $150!!!
Yes you can. If you ring Britax/safe n sound they will be able to help you. The price may vary depending of which seat it is.
Hi Jan, thanks for your question. You can get a repalcement cover which your local baby store will be able to order for you. The part number is 1155 - RRP $74.95. We should also mention our recommendation on the lifespan is anything 10 years or older should not be used. We recommend replacement at 10 years, due to deterioration of the plastics used in construction of modern restraints. A seat may have become brittle over time, and simply will not provide the same level of protection against impact. Kind regards, Britax Team.
You can buy generic fabric padded car seat covers or $30-60 on eBay.com.au which are more tastefully designed that than manufacturer-supplied covers. Whether it's OEM or not, the foam padding will deteriorate, so factor in replacing it after many years of use.

Id say so. It fits well in our 2001 VY. We are about to have it fitted forward facing into a Toyota Prado.

How do I wash the cover?
Hi Chrissy13, cleaning instructions are on the care label attached to the cover. All Car Seat covers are machine washable (gentle cycle), cold water only, rinse well, dry on flat surface, do not tumble dry, bleach or dryclean. Kind regards, Britax Team
