I have just had this error saying Gearbox in emergency mode you can drive on. My car doesn’t seem to accelerate well and jerking while I am driving has anyone experienced this?
Has anyone had problems with the electronics on their Kodiaq. I tried to start it today and the brake pedal seemed hard to depress, and when I pressed the start button the electronics went berserk, saying all sorts of things were wrong. This unit is not 3 years old yet and has the tech and luxury pack, so top of the range. Any answers send to jegconsult57@gmail.com
Hi John, The symptoms you describe sound like the battery is low on charge or on its way out. You can get Skoda to replace it under it’s new car warranty policy as Skoda is one of the few car brands that fully cover the cars battery throughout the entire warranty period.
What have the servicing cost been like? Parts and etc?
I bought pre paid service pack for 3 years which is just 900 dollars....comes out to just 300 dollars per service.....haven't needed any parts so cannot comment on it

How are the brakes lasting.
Hi Travis The car has only done about 18,000km. So no problems so far. I’m pretty kind on my cars brakes and don’t expect any issues below 50k. My last two Superbs had no issues whatsoever. The first was a 2009 125TDI front wheel drive sedan and I sold it with just under 70k on clock and the brakes easily passed the RWC test. The second was a 4x4 Superb Outdoor 125TDI wagon which was sold at around 26k again with no issues. So based on recent history I don’t expect anything different. The Kodiaq is a brilliant SUV and has been performing just as I expected.
Is the 2.0 Diesel version more economic than its petrol options and is the interior all leather or cloth trim
