SleepMaker Chiro Support Range Questions & Answers
VerifiedCan I flip my chiropractor support resolve mattress as it’s only 6 months old and now uncomfortable
Has the sleepmaker Chiro Support 300 been discontinued ?
It should be discontinued as it did not deliver on comfort and support.
Hi there, purchased Chiro Support Medium mattress in Dec 12. Started having issue from last year or so, center of mattress have sank in on both the sides which i believe is the reason. Am i still covered (under warranty )?
I'm having trouble with mine too - bought Dec 2012. I've been in touch and got a copy of my sales order, all I've done so far is found the warranty wizard on the sleepmaker website - it will tell you how to measure how much sag you have - has to be more than 3.5cm to claim under warranty external link
Hello, can you please confirm that these reviews are for the following product: Chiro connect 300 king mattress
From a Sleepy's store, is that right?
Can I flip this mattress cause my partner and I are having extremely bad back pain?
No - get rid of the mattress
That's the plan
Hi there - have you been in touch with our customer care team? Your mattress is single sided so not designed to be flipped.
Flipped it and bought a mattress topper, heaps better, don't know how long it will last but at least good for now
Good to hear Drewy, sometimes people prefer the firmer bottom side of the mattress. If things don't last, please get in touch with our customer care team.
Hi Drewby88 - I'm with you there buddy. Our Chiro Escape 300 mattress is a dodgy one too. Lodged a complaint with the Office of Fair Trading who unfortunately turns out to be a toothless tiger much like the ACCC. Relegating this dodgy mattress to the spare room and we are currently sleeping on a king single and trundle bed which is way more comfortable than SleepMaker mattress. Everyone should stay away from SleepMaker and I am telling everyone I come in contact with exactly that, regardless of whether they're in the market for a new mattress. Good luck.
Hi, I'm wondering if my Chiro gel 200 is still under warranty. I think it was a 10 year - should be. I paid $4999 for the mattress and base from Sleepy's in Mackay (I'm now residing in Sydney) Dec 2009. The middle of the mattress is sagging a lot and causing me back pain. Im only 70kgs and been sleeping on it for the last 6 years. Anybody know?
Oh dear, that's no good. Are you able to get in touch with us? marketing@sleepmaker.com.au
We have a Sleepmaker Conformity 300, purchased in 2011. We have rotated this mattress regularly as suggested by the sales lady and have a bamboo mattress protector on it. We were referred to Sleepy's by the chiropractor to get bed from them. Over the past 6-7 months I have found that I cannot get comfortable at night. Have restless sleep and wake up with a stiff back. My chiropractor has suggested to contact the mattress company regarding the warranty on this mattress.. Any one have any suggestions / experience dealing with Sleepy's or Sleepmaker? We paid $3000 for this mattress!
Here is the answer we received from Sleepmaker when complaining - USELESS. You should insist at Sleepy's that THEY resolve your issue. THEY are your first port of call. Remember that THEY will listen as a local dealer far more closely to you, as "you might tell all your friends what crap you bought at your local retailer".....
Here it is:
The following extract is from the attached Warranty Card that is sent out with every new mattress.
It is normal for your mattress to develop body impressions as the extra comfort layers settle and begin to contour to your body shape. This is a completely normal occurrence and helps to ensure the mattress is perfectly contoured for maximum comfort. The plusher or thicker your mattress is, the more comfort layers it will contain. To help equalize body impressions, rotate your mattress every 2 weeks, for the first 4 months and every 3 months thereafter (turn and rotate if double sided). Use all surfaces of the mattress, to assist in settling the comfort layers evenly. Body impressions are not considered a manufacturing fault and are a normal part of wearing in your mattress.
The centre of your mattress can feel firmer if it is not slept on and you may get the appearance of a hill in this area. It is a normal characteristic of the design of a bed. We encourage you to persist with using the middle to push the comfort layers down.
Body impressions are a good indicator of contour comfort. When they occur this means that the quilted mattress construction is conforming to your body’s individual contours and levelling to its final position. A body impression is not a structural defect.
On a pillowtop mattress, approximately 35mm height adjustment is considered a normal level of body contouring, and on a non pillow top mattress 25mm height adjustment is considered normal. This is an indicative guide and depending on the mattress and the user, greater body impressions may occur.
CRAP!

#propertyrevamp Many thanks for your comments. Gosh, I really hope I get sowewhere with my enquiry. As you say one tends to tell your friends about how unhappy one can be about a product. I am all for telling my friends about good post sale services too. I will hopefully manage to address this problem soon. A good night's sleep is paramount and bed manufacturers have an all important part to play in this... Fingers crossed.

Many thanks for the information received here. I will endeavor to get in touch with you asap. I don't take a $3000 purchase lightly. I sincerely hope we will come to an amicable solution....I am not sure if the 'marketing' department is the right avenue to take. Is there not a customer services manager I can speak to? With thanks
Not to worry, we'll escalate this internally, once we hear from you.
Hey there Bushbaby. I agree, absolute crap!! Good luck.
I am dissatisfied with my sleepmaker Chiro Align mattress. I originally purchased the 400 model but the bed that was delivered was significantly firmer than the bed we tested. All Chiro align beds were reduced by $1,000.00 to $1, 600 plus delivery costs of $80.00 which had to be paid in cash to the courier (no receipt given). After much "discussion" Sleepy's agreed to exchange the 400 for the 300 if we paid an extra $500.00 and paid another $80.00 delivery. I believe that extorting a higher price in this manner is outrageous. What recourse, if any do I have? The original "asking" price on the display sign was $2,600. Sleepmaker refuse to disclose the factory door price and their recommended retail price for the Chiro align. Can you tell me what it is? If not how can I find out what it is?
Hi Nev, I'm sorry but I'm really not qualified to answer your question. If you are not happy with the response from Sleepy's then perhaps you should deal directly with Sleepmaker. I guess technically if you received the model you ordered, then Sleepy's have fulfilled their obligation - could it be that the bed felt a lot harder because of the time that lapsed between trying it out and receiving it, and in the meantime you had gotten used to your regular bed again? Sorry, I'm just trying to see it from their point of view too. Good luck with everything
Hi Nev Thank you for your enquiry. Would you mind sending through your contact details to the following email address alice.pollard@sleepmaker.com.au. I will forward your details onto the right person at Sleepys who can help you with this enquiry. Unfortunately Im unable to answer your question regarding price, Sleepmaker do not determine the RRP price of their products, this is done by the retailer.
Look forward to hearing from you
