I did not buy from the eBay site, however, Sparesbox in my absolute opinion is very unreliable. No communication, no tracking number and got my product later than what they state. I will definitely not be dealing with Sparesbox again.

Still open but they're a shambles. They just cancelled an order after stringing me along for nearly 8 weeks. They don't have stock even though they advertise otherwise. Worst company I've ever dealt with. Hundreds of negative reviews. Good luck.

They are absolute crap scamming people to deal with , l strongly suggest avoiding them
They are but I’ve had the same experience as everyone else. They refunded me after I had PayPal chase up my order. Never again there are a lot of reputable online parts stores out there. These guys aren’t one of them. Absolutely disgusting service.
They're owned by the same company who owns Repco. note: Repco will price match with these jokers, so you can still get the price.

You should get a refund, Sparesbox has been backed up with ordering issues so you may not get them anytime soon
Hi Michael I'm in the same boat, have not received any of my parts which have been paid for and in Stock when ordered, I'm thinking of asking for a refund maybe you should too and look elsewhere,

Sparebox seem to be in the business of collecting payments and then never to be heard of again . This company should not be allowed to operate.

Why wont Sparesbox answer emails or inboxes via Facebook? They wont answer my request ro cancel my order. I ordered through afterpay because they had a post on facebook about 20 percent off and easy pay with afterpay. Afterpay wont cancel the order, Sparesbox wont communicate with me so I have no recourse at all. I will be stuck with 300 bucks to pay to afterpay and no item. I just want a little customer service, Explain why my order isnt sent or at least cancel my order before afterpay takes their first payment and leave me with no way to cancel :( Terrible Terrible customer service and very cowardly customer handling.

Its crazy! I dont understand their crappy customer service. They keep using CV19 as an excuse, But im pretty sure covid doesnt infect Your facebook or email inboxes.
Same here. Wouldn't reply to my request to cancel until they "found the items" and sent them. Garbage customer service and it will be their undoing.
I finally had my order cancelled and refunded but they had no contact with me until I started commenting on all of their facebook posts and videos. Once I spammed their posts with questions, They all of a sudden returned my messages via email and cancelled the order. They shouldnt need customers to spam them, to take notice. I am fortunate enough to only have had to deal with this company for a month, The poor people that have been dealing with this for 12 months or more must be pulling their hair out!!!
Why can you not commit to an order made or delivery date or reply to email requests searching for what we have already paid for??
Sparesbox is an Australian owned company that sell a lot of product online. Lately there's been a lot of bad publicity about the service that you provide. My understanding of the situation is mainly the delivery time and services that you are offering to your loyal customer. Customers place an order with yous and it's taken much longer than expected to be delivered to the customer.
Sparesbox why do you use a foreign courier company such as Couriersplease that has a very poor and unreliable reputation worldwide?
Why do you not support an Australian owned companies to deliver customers order such as Australia Post for example?
Is it not Australian citizens that supports you?
Then is it not fare that you give some support back to those who are supporting you?
Covid 19 has impact the live of so many people in Australia and all over the world as well. Everyday Australian are trying to support business like yours. It p!!!!!! me off when good business get a bad name because of bad conduct of others

Terry, the issue appears to be largely in part of advertising products that they don't have in stock. Hence why items aren't being shipped on time - because they don't have them to send. This practice is unlawful under Australian Consumer Law - to advertise a product you do not have and can not supply in the time specified (such as their eBay listings). If Covod was the issue, as I am aware this has been claimed at times, then the item would be at least sent and then delayed in shipping, and that would show. But the fact items aren't leaving the building before the dates they are meant to be in the customer's hands is clearly nil stock.
John, I do agree with you in part about them not having items in stock to ship, I understand them running out of stock from time to time and that they still advertising those items as being still in stock. It's wrong and I agree with you in that regard . Stock control is an issue with them without a doubt, they need to update their website more often then what they do. They also need to use a more reliable Courier Companies to deliver to their customers. Since the start of covid many companies are having supply issues

Ordered parts on the13/5/2018 at around 10am from Sparesbox and also ordered parts from Jamies touring solutions at 11am (12 volt oven) They are in Cairns and I am in Ballarat Victoria. Received email at 2pm from Jaimies touring solutions at 2:00pm stating that the order was packed and had been sent for delivery with tracking number. Nothing from Sparesbox. Received parcel from Jaimies touring solutions on Friday 17/5/2019. Nothing from Sparesbox. Tried calling Sparesbox to find out about order and got automated phone voice telling me there was a 1 minute wait next it tells me there will be a 2 minute wait after about 6 minutes it told me there was a 4 minute wait. Even Telstra counts down not up when waiting. Continues waiting and then phone was picked up then hung up. Tried this several times with same results so left a message to get call back. Nothing but did receive an updated delivery status at 7:12pm stating my order was on its way (a lot longer than their stated time of despatch between 24-48 hours). This is the last item I need for my 12 volt system and needed it finished as we are heading away next weekend. Had expected to finish it this weekend gone. Worst customer experience would not shop here again. Learn from Jamie’s touring solutions they know how to run a business and tell you if drop shipping.
On Friday 27 Apr I ordered 2x5l liquid moly 5x30 special tech f oil, However I mistakenly ordered special tech LL. I rang and tried to change the order, The bloke staid that the order was changed and would be sent to-day. The oil I ordered was about $79 and I paid $158 by paypal. why doesn't anyone answer the phone when calling sparesbox?
Same problem called today at 1.15pm aest and on hold for 12 minutes and still no answer.i For an $60 online order they want my credit card statement transaction code to confirm my order before they can dispatch. Seriously? Get your shact together otherwise close up.
They don't. 10 minutes on hold then message bank. They don't return your call either. They also don't respond to email or the online chat function.
They are happy to take your money however. One of the great online fraudsters in my opinion.
