Sunbeam Blender On The Go PB2000 Questions & Answers
VerifiedMPN: 5734Can somebody please tell me where I can purchase a bottle from ? for my PB 2000 and how much do they cost? Thank you.
Hi Suzanne, Unfortunately this is a discontinued model for us. However if you click on this attachement external link Amazon has some replacement bottles you can purchase. Thanka
Thank you for this information - much appreciated.
Where can I please purchase a new blade base or the seal for it?
Have just used my blender for the first time and the part with the blades in it is stuck in the machine. Has anyone else had that problem and if so, how did they resolve it ? Thanks
Hi Amanda, I found that if you have the container on tight , you are able to gently just pull it out. Hope this helps. Vic
Can it blend frozen berries, or would they need defrosting first?
I've not done frozen berries, just fresh ones, but yeah I'd probably defrost them a bit first hey.
Hello ESP .. I have blended frozen berries with this unit many times before and without any issues
Just doing some research before I buy and wanted to know what is the difference between this sunbeam blender on the go and the sunbeam goblend?
Hi MissEzza, The only really difference between the Sunbeam Go Blend and the Sunbeam Blender on the Go is the Go Blend comes in a various range of colours and only comes with the one bottle whereas the Blender on the Go comes with 2.
Both units however are used for the same purpose.

Is the power strong enough to blend the small ice? I want to make smoothies with blended ice.
I think it would be OK, mine died but it worked fairly well before that.
Hi, I was wondering are the bottles meant to be airtight, so if I tip it over it shouldn't leak from the lid bit that screws on?
Hi Rosie I'm not exactly sure about "airtight" but the screw-on lid has a rubber seal and tightens up well and the lid to the spout clicks in pretty tightly too. I filled a bottle with water and flipped it upside down and no water came out so it is pretty good in that respect.
Blender blades part is stuck inside, plastic part has come out. I am not able to rotate blades part.
Any suggestion?
Hi Imran Nawaz,
Please give us a call on 1300 881 861 with a copy of your receipt and we can supply a spare part for you.
Kind Regards

Hi, I purchased one of these and it was absolutely perfect. Used everyday. Until after 1 week, I noticed the liquid was leaking out of the base of the blades..... I returned it to where I bought it and swapped, and the replacement one is doing the same thing! Anyone encountered this before??
I have not had this trouble...the only thing I can think of is that perhaps you have not tightened the bits together sufficiently when assembling ?? Sorry can't be more helpful. Cheers, Su
Re Sunbeam Blender On the Go. I have a smoothie that needs 4 tablespoons of cashews. Will that be OK to put in the blender (not as hard as ice ). thanks
Although we've never put 4 tblsp nuts into the blender, we have blended seeds and nuts often (and ice). I would imagine that it's fine but pulse the blender in short spurts of maybe a second each time rather than holding the on button down for a long time. This gives a much better result and mixes without overheating the motor (just in case).
I think it should crush it easy. I blend ice in milkshake to make Oreo and Tim tam thick shakes and it's fine ...
I still love this invention
I agree with Silvamama: pulse the drink rather than doing it all in one long blend and it should be fine. If you find it takes too long, or has to work too hard, perhaps you could divide the drink into two loads and do each separately... ? I am really enjoying this little machine. It has handled all that I have asked of it so far. I use it several times a day. Actually made vegetable soup the other day by processing a variety of vegs in chicken stock and then heating it - delicious!
Thanks everyone. I think I will try to do it in 2 batches as the liquid may be over the 600 ml limit anyway. So 2 tablespoons of cashews each batch and I will do quick pulses as suggested. It's a Raspberry "Cheesecake" Smoothie. The cashews apparently give it a cheesecake flavour. So I will find out if that's true tomorrow. Thanks again
