I'm looking for a way to fix the base with the jug, it fall apart after few years of operation, for that model breville blender model bbl100; might be a replacement of the base part that fix with the jug with a seal, or a complete assembly?

Same thing happened to me. Bottom dropped out of blender, huge huge mess of a smoothie over 3 levels of shelving and the floor? Not happy.

Just purchased one these BBL 100 blenders. can you tell me if the base falling off problem has been fixed or how to prevent it.

Can't help you there. I took mine back and bought a Kambrook which has no problems at all.....

Could you please describe the problem in more detail? Is it the bottom part of the jug that is the problem, or is it the bottom part of the power base? And under what conditions is it falling off?

no, I read several reviews from people who say the base with the blades dropped out and that the plastic lips that hold the container were broken off. mine is still in the mail so i was reading reviews to avoid the dramas., thanks

Hi again, we have started work at the factory to improve the way the base (part with blades) of this blender locks in to jug. Thank you for your feedback! In the meantime, the base part with blades needs to be aligned and locked in to place carefully. Please make sure the seal is in place.

really not good enough. Such a terrible product don't understand how it is still on the market and hasn't been recalled. My second one (replacement of 1st) broke again today. again base fell out and cracked jug.

So glad I read all these reviews before using my new blender. As soon as I mentioned to a friend I had been given one for a present she said get your money back and don't use it. Its dangerous and it just does not lock into the base just has these long prongs that go into holes and then you cannot turn to lock. Had not problem getting a refund. so thank you Briscoes.
