Hi just wanted to know can I have 2 man shake Go instead of the man shake & still loose weight thanks , I have been a Long time customer of the man shake Ever since it started
Hi There Mark Whilst our Man Shake GO is still a full replacement like our core range shakes you may be best to have just one per day for breakfast as they do contain caffeine and some other ingredients to kick start your day off. If, however, you can tolerate high caffeine levels then it would be safe for you to have two Man Shake GO's and still get the same results. TMS Team
Can I have a normal bowl of cereal for breakfast and then Manshake for lunch?
Our suggested plan for weight loss is two shakes and two small healthy snacks with one meal preferably watching portion size and try to make that meal a healthy one.
I normally fast for 16 hours and don't eat breakfast, so I only normally eat lunch and dinner. Now that I'm not fasting and having two shakes and a dinner. Will this be counterproductive, I feel like I'm having more calories by having two shakes and dinner.
Our suggested plan for weight loss is 2 shakes along with one meal per day. This program is designed have to your shakes and food within a 10 hour window and include two healthy snacks as well as this will keep your metabolism going throughout the day and will help with burning fat.
I have transitioned from male to female. Which shake should I use ?
Whilst there are differences with the ingredients and nutrients in The Man and Lady Shakes both are completely safe for any gender to use. We would suggest that you consult with your doctor to see which product they suggest you should use.
How many minutes after taking man shake do start to feel the effects of feeling full
Good question - this depends on how long it has taken you to consume the shake as well as how thick you prefer the shakes to be. For example a thinner shake drunk slower may give you a different full feeling that drinking a thicker shake at once. Try changing the texture of the shakes and the length of time you consume them in until you find what works best for you.
I’ve been taking man shake for nearly 2 weeks the first week I lost a roundabout 5 kg however this week it seems as though I am putting weight back on is there any reason for that
Hi There Nigel Firstly, thanks for your honest message email we completely empathise with how you’re feeling. Sometimes it does take other people longer than others to lose weight, and this is up to a various number of factors, such as how much you’re exercising, your medical history, your age, how much weight you need to lose etc. You are on the right path, and I can hear your frustration but, unfortunately the human body is a complicated and frustrating vehicle. It probably took you a fair while to put the weight on that you are looking to get rid of, so it is going to take more than a week or two to get your body moving back in the right direction. Over time our metabolism slows down making it more difficult to lose weight. The Man Shake program is designed to kick start your metabolism again and turn you into a fat burning machine. Depending on your current age, weight and lifestyle, this can take a couple of weeks to kick in. It is super important to stick with the program and not give up now that you have gone through the toughest part. We really encourage people to look at the other ‘wins’ associated with weight loss which don’t necessarily reveal themselves on the scales! This could be your mental health, how much you’re sleeping, your mood, your energy levels, even your clothing sizes! Often you can benefit the most by using a measuring tape and doing that version of checking in other than weight loss/scale measurements. We suggest this because if you’re also exercising/eating the right foods you can be gaining muscle, whilst losing weight, resulting in ‘small losses’ in weight loss, but are actually gaining muscle/strength - making the wins much bigger than you realise! If you’re always hungry and not losing any weight, it might be worth looking at your diet - because if you’re not eating enough, it can actually stunt your progress! If you’re not drinking enough water this can actually limit your weight loss progress! We recommend consuming 2-3L of water a day - on top of the shakes! Remember meal replacements such as The Man Shake are scientifically proven to work as they are based on good calories in versus calories out. This is not a gimmicky product but a proper nutritional, scientific meal proven to help you to lose weight and keep it off. Please stay positive in knowing this and keep going - you are so close to starting to get the result you want, and it would be tragic to quit at this point. Kind Regards Tracey The Man Shake Team
How long can you stay on the man shake. I was 103kg now down to 87kg, but still not at my desired weight of 80kg. I have been going for almost 18 months. Is there side effects for prolonged use.

Can u have fresh fruit in the man shake for breakfast?
Hi There Robyn Thanks for your message. You can certainly add fresh or frozen fruits to your Man Shake for breakfast as they are absolutely fine to add and create a ‘smoothie’ consistency. Fruit also can change the flavours to make more/less sweet depending on what you add. If you are including calorie counting on our program, please ensure to factor this in when adding your fruit. There are also some great smoothy recipes on our website: external link Kind Regards Tracey The Man Shake Team
Hi - I'm taking metamucil. Will the Man Shake replace the fibre in Metamucil, or should I take both?
Hi There Mike Thanks for your question. Metamucil can be used in conjunction with the Man Shake. A lot of our customers find it beneficial to take it whilst using The Man Shake. Kind Regards TMS
Is there anyway to stop or at least reduce the constipation? I already eat lots of vegies.
Hi There Peter Unfortunately, constipation can be a normal part of any change in diet, especially one high in protein. It can often take time for your body to adjust and regulate. Please ensure that you are drinking plenty of water - the recommended amount is around 2-3 litres per day. Fish oil tablets can also be extremely helpful and Metamucil from the pharmacy or supermarket will also help. Exercise also plays a large part in keeping the bowel moving so make sure you are moving enough too. If possible, try to aim for 10 000 steps per day. You can also try to ensure that your two snacks a day, and the one meal per day, that are part of our recommended plan do contain foods that are high in fibre. And you can discuss this further with your health professional. Kind Regards Tracey The Man Shake Team

I am a man.. what will happen if I have the lady shake? Will it change my physical appearance and make me beautiful?
Hi Dan The Man and Lady Shake are unique as they each cater to the different nutritional needs of men and women, this is evident with the different protein blends. The men’s shake has a higher amount of protein to cater to men’s lager muscle mass. The Lady Shakes protein blend also contains collagen protein to promote healthy skin, nails and hair. Each product also contains specific vitamins and minerals to cater for each genders needs. The Man shake is also higher in calories, fibre and good fats based on mens higher body mass index. We would recommend that you use The Man Shake, however, both products are safe to use for either genders. The TMS Team

How long can you leave the man shake befor drinking was thinking to have one for breakfast than make one up and save it till lunch …
Hey Kev! You can premix your shakes and store them in the fridge for up to 24 hours. They may thicken slightly so it's best to give them a good shake or add some additional liquid if need be, when you are ready to consume. We don't recommend premixing and leaving the shake unrefrigerated for extensive periods of time.
Hope this helps!
Awesome thanks
Hi it's Simon, I've just started the man shake a week ago. Is it advisable to start doing stomach exercises at this stage?

Can you use a blender/nutra bullet to mix your shake
I have a nutra bullet but no, I don't use it. I just shake in a shaker for about 5min
yep and add fruit, like banana's, berries etc
Can you have half of the manshake and achieve daily and get same results obviously over a longer term
I dont think so. I take one a day and a normal meal.
Hi There Norm S Reducing the quantity of powder by half will provide you with half the amount of protein and nutrients. The benefits would also be halved, so you'd receive fewer of the intended nutritional advantages compared to consuming the full serving. We still get people who lose weight with the one scoop but would recommend having the two. Is there anything we can help answer for you with that wanting to reduce the serving amount?
