How can I get the boost sound increase to stay on so it doesn’t have to be pressed every time
Hi Dale,
The boost button should be always manually pressed once engaged in a call. There's no option for it to stay on all the time.
Appreciate your understanding.

I own an XDECT SSE35 series and I can't turn off the visual ringer on the handset!!!!! I have tried sliding the base switch from high to off several times as indicated on page 18 of the owner's manual but with no luck.....
Hi Alzira, Please follow the instructions below to remove the flashing lights. Press Menu Scroll down to Advanced Setup Press Menu Scroll down to VMWI Reset Press Menu Scroll up to YES Press Menu After the resetting, if the red light still flashes, it means you have a message bank on the line. The only default greeting we provide with the phone is the automated male American voice.Anything different that is heard, when calling in, will be the Message Bank service on the line. Please contact your service provider, (Telstra, Optus etc) and inform them to deactivate the message bank they have put on for you.
Once this is done, all messages will come directly to the Uniden answering machine and the flashing will stop and also the dial tone will revert back to normal. Should you have any further inquiries, please do not hesitate to contact us.
I have this problem ,it is only the handsets not the base. I have done the above several times and a hour or so later the flashing start again. My telstra message bank is not activated. The problem has started since going on nbn .

Can this phone be used when connected to NBN?
Hi Doreen,
Your model has been tested to work on the same PSTN lines as the NBN.
It should be able to make and receive calls fine.
Thanks for the quick response
No worries at all.

We have a Uniden XDECT SSE35 2 handset unit and although we have no incoming calls the Visual Ringer red light keeps flashing. There is an "envelope" icon on th e handet also, but no missed incoming calls, and we want to stop the red light flashing. Any ideas?
That i plies that the machine thinks there is a message. Have you tried playing messages just in case? If so and no luck reset the machine by unplugging for 30sec. Potentially if even that does not work maybe somehow you have a message with the landline service provider - ie call got redirected to their messaging service instead of going to your machine so need to clear it
