The Bfang motor doesn’t seem to cope with very much help to scale steep inclines, and I’m asking if there’s an upgrade to it.
Im 58 years old and ride my velectrix to work which is only 2km from home. There are a couple of hills and after riding my old Europa hybrid, I have no problem going up hills. Bear in mind the highest default power is 5, but you can increase the maximum powered where I have set my velectrix to 9.
The only problem every so often is that the gearing up hills sometimes jump gears. But to avoid tjis problem dont start off above 1st gear when taking off.

Why won’t it turn on after you switch it on after a ride?
Need to plug the charger again and it turns on after but not without the charger? - battery on full

Tried that, no good. Worked it out press the - for a few seconds, all good now

Unsure, I still have the Old one i have not attempted to open it at all.
Just trying to charge for first time one green light is showing on the charger. When trying to switch battery on nothing is happening . I had it on charge for 4 hours .
Try checking 30amp fuse under top cover.
Trying to charge battery urban 2+. Battery doesn't seem to b taking a charge..
It's turned off while connected to power, but hadn't changed from 2 green lights on battery, been on charge 5 hrs.. Thanks.. ( battery has only been charged once before by previous owner).

Concerned about battery size 8.5 not big enough
I can’t work out how to turn the light on my bike on. The buttons on the top of the front and back lights aren’t able to be pressed in and nothing happens. I’ve also tried pushing in the power button and the speed buttons.
If you're not having the plus version than the lights button is on the lights itself
I must have the plus version because neither of the buttons on either light work. How do you turn on the plus version lights?
To turn there lights on when the power is turned on to the handlebar display hold the UP button for 2 seconds until you see the display illuminate and the light symbol appear. To turn it off do the same again.
hi Alex check the top (M) button is not stuck on as mine is a sticky button. So i use my finger nail gently pull it back from the back of the rubber button and it all works again. its a great bike have fun
Just wondering if there is a user weight limit - I can't see anything in the specs. As someone who needs to get some exercise but has no fitness, an e-bike looks like a good idea.
I read on the last page up to 110kg which includes baskets, and goods.
