Vyron Nimbus 2.0 Lightweight Electric Folding Bike Questions & Answers
what is average klms on a single charge
My wife recently sold her Vyron Cumulus with the same battery and motor I believe; we live in a very hilly area and as she became better at riding it she easily got 80 plus Km's but had no problem getting 60 plus even using pas 3 and above all the time(out of 5), she did 1000's km so it was well tested and her range and the ability of the bike was remarkable, we have both upgraded our Vyron ebikes for two more Vyron ebikes because the value is unmatched in our eyes and we have 4 years of daily commuting under our belts now, I have had two Vyron cargobikes due to transporting two kids and my wife has moved up to another model of the Cumulus, best of luck but if you buy from Sam at Vyron be very prepared to have a positive and amazing experience.
Of course, Wayne no matter how big the battery or of what quality Range is very subjective on ride conditions including rider weight wind, loose clothing, weight of luggage/shopping etc., hills and surface being ridden, assist levels chosen, but rest assure these bikes from Vyron are of a very high standard for the price, best of luck and have fun.
What type of battery is it?
It's a lithium Ion batter. Had it for over 12 months and still going strong.
Does it go uphill easily? What happens with warranty in NSW. Do I have to ship it back to Victoria at my cost if it is dead on arrival or has a major failure?
Not sure about warranty. Feel confident that if I had any problems I could work it out with retailer. Easy going up hill. Throttle mechanism great as you start off.
What is the highest point of a saddle from the ground, (cm)? And, is it really 19.5 kg of weight with battery?
Just measured. Not entirely accurate, but lifted the seat to around 41 cm. Again, not entirely sure of the weight, but it is lighter than friends’ bikes, which are very similar ( not The Nimbus) But, I’m VERY happy with my Nimbus. It’s very basic compared to my friends more expensive, collapsible, digital models, but they prefer mine. Love the instant take up speed that the throttle provides. Their bikes are around 25 kg. I can really tell the difference in weight.
Sam - the owner, told me that saddle to ground maximum distance is 96 cm. Where to compare to the other bike (TDR from Victoria) is 105 cm. It is important for a bloke like me - 6.3" in height ;-) However, the info about the exact weight would make a difference for me, buy or not to buy.
Where can you purchase this VYRON Nimbus ebike ? It sounds very good.
Vyron electric bikes Brunswick Vic I've had mine for 7 months now and love it.
