When I enter a UK address to buy a nook from world of books australia it tells me they don't post to the uk..Is this correct??

I find that I cannot log onto my WOB Australia account. They say they are improving their website, but this has been the situation for some two weeks. I now have received a faulty order, but cannot access my original order to check order number and exact title of the book ordered. Advice? Have others experienced this? Is WOB in collapse?

Today Oct. 18 I have received my order WAU-2210-10804791. I was required to show the Australia Post delivery person my formal identification. This is excessive bureaucracy. If I had not been at home I would have had to go to Newcastle Post Office during their hours and this would have been very inconvenient. Yesterday I placed another order with you WAU-2210-10809422. Would you please despatch this order in such a way that it can be delivered to me into my on site letter box without requiring me to be at home to show identification.
If you cannot do this, I will not order any more books from World of Books as this bureaucratic requirement makes it just not worth the bother it puts me to.

Where is the book I ordered coming from? This is the second time i have ordered to War With Whitaker. The first one did not arrive and I need the second one quickly as I have to lead a discussion on the book.
Is my book coming to Australia by air? I need it next week to present a review. I had no idea it was being shipped. I have now ordered a second copy thinking it would be here on time. Finally received my book, better late than never.
Can you track the whereabouts of order WAU-2111-10625466 "Daylight" by David Baldacci sent on 19th of November. Had another book also by the same author sent on same day and it arrived a week ago. Any help in locating the former , thank you

I ordered 2 books 6 weeks ago (from today) on the 21st of October and it still hasn't arrived yet. I'm wondering where the book is in transit and how long I should wait? I live close to the Melbourne CBD so it should've arrived at least 2 weeks ago by now, but still no word. I really wish tracking was offered. I would happily pay extra if it meant being guaranteed that I know whether my orders are on their way or not. I would really appreciate if someone got back to me on this, because I'm quite concerned it'll never arrive at this rate.
hi Harsh D. i had a different experience from you. My book arrived 2 weeks from delivery and I live in Western Australia. Because of Covid it has put a lot of pressure on the mail on the mail system. I would not blame World of Books. The sheer volume of deliveries going through transit has slowed delivery right down. Also if the delivery came while you weren't home means there is a chance the book could of been stolen. I hope my answer will give you an insight as to why your delivery hasn't arrived. I'm 100% sure it hasn't been stolen as we have cameras and sensors which alert us when mail has been dropped off, so I hope it's just the mail that has been delayed... Hopefully the books arrive soon. Thanks for your response!
What do I do? I ordered books in the CRAM 101 Study Guide Series. For the fourth time I was sent the correct cover but the incorrect book inside - same incorrect book. It is obvious there is a problem in the production process but no one checks it out. It is so frustrating. Where can I email WOB to get the correct book and sort out the problem. How can I possibly be expected to review a book that has not been shipped yet according to your last email?Book in question is Deeper by Dane Ortlund.The 2nd book has been shipped but not yet received owing to the order being too recent.
Same, I ordered two books 6 weeks ago. I got an email today asking for my feedback and review on the products, despite not even having received them yet. I really hope it's just the shipping that's delayed or something, but I expect the books to at least arrive in good condition (considering I paid for "Very Good" quality books)

Hi I can't answer that question as I am just a purchaser like you but I was pretty certain that the website mislead me into thinking the book came from a local place but actually it came from overseas and took a long time to get here. The book arrived in good condition but it was the wrong book! Plenty of other options out there, that are more reliable
You are right. The quality of the books sent is a DISGRACE, and nothing like advertised. The operation is a con. They price badly defaced or otherwise damaged books at just a few dollars less than new, classify them falsely as 'very good', and then hope you won't fight them when you finally receive the book (after waiting crazy numbers of weeks). It seems to be a business model based on the good faith built by book sellers with more integrity. (We get used to receiving used books from goof companies that are as described, so then we try 'worldofbooks'...)

Not quite sure what you want to know but I’ve ordered books through WOB 4 times now. They have all arrived in good condition and within a reasonable time frame considering the COVID restrictions. 1 book was a little discoloured and a bit grubby along the outside on the pages but all the other books I have bought have been in very good condition. The book I ordered that was a bit grubby was an old publication so I can’t complain too much as I needed it to add to a series of books that I started reading many many years ago. I hope this helped.
I have discovered that their are six books with the name "What Wood is that". All I want is a book that tells me the name of the wood and a discription of that wood, preferably Australian timbers
