Henry vacuums vinyl floor covering, tiles and caret and occasionally the car. Hoses and bags have been constantly available. I think we paid $400, a lot at the time but hell we have had our money's worth. Sorry no receipt but it was 32 years back OK?

f....n insane ! Originally I was complaining about the (vac earlier model) not being balanced correctly when power cord was hanged on vac frame's top side. Now, that top part of frame was changes in design (eliminated) perhaps due to having no more complains,.... and my question is now:...where to place the folded power cord when the vac is in transit? So, we come out from one nonsense, just to experience another one and PacVac people think their problem are over. Far from the truth!!! If you are not able to design good functional and reliable vacuum cleaner,....please...go and make other customers miserable in different area of business.

requires assembly instructions, parts, commitment, very IKEA, but without the complimentary meatballs. In hindsight, probably explains the price.

Once assembled, I hit the power button and was immediately convinced a Lancaster Bomber was attempting take-off in my living room. This thing is loud. Like “pause, look around, wait for the neighbours to complain” loud. I genuinely checked the windows.

Suction-wise… look, I’ve seen better suction on a hungover mozzie stuck to a flyscreen. With the nozzles on, it didn’t exactly cut the mustard. Take the nozzles off and it improves still not long-distance suction, but at least it’s having a go.

That said, for the price, it’s… fine. It does the job if your expectations are realistic and your ears are prepared. Not a luxury experience, more a utility-grade, shout-at-it-over-the-noise situation.

Would I buy it again? Maybe, but only after warning the household, the neighbours, and possibly air traffic control.

well for the price.

It has some good attributes like being bagless and an easy cleaning system and large collection bin. It's lightweight and has good ergonomics and quite a strong motor and a very easy emptying system..

Some designs on it could be improved though from the cord which winds back on itself even if wound from the vacuum end or the tip. The flat suction head wheels can bind up with hair and other detritus very easily given their tiny radius. It was used in a home shed environment around woodworking and I'd consider it a reliable vacuum for the price.

lasted 21months. On off switch cost $100 to repair 6 weeks ago now the motor has given up. I only use it 8 hrs a weeks. Unless your prepared to buy a new one every twenty months don't buy it. Very disappointed with Nilfisk and made in China.

vacuums!

I use my vacuum daily on multiple surfaces -- hard wood, carpet and tile. It gets a workout, so a well-built machine that lasts is a must, and in the past I've had the worst luck. I've been through countless k-mart vacuums (surprisingly, their $49 model is the best of what they offer), as well as other more expensive brands, and was tired of replacing them so frequently.

The Pullman AS10 (discontinued?) with its Italian-made motor was by far the best one I've owned. After doing some research, I landed on the Henry/Hetty commercial series (UK-made) and was excited to try it out.

Suction is excellent, even too much. It can be difficult moving the head across the carpet because the suction is so strong. The machine feels solid and very well-made. Parts are easy to source. Nothing gets stuck, and it's easy to clean. I feel like the hose is a little stiff, though, and it was pinching my fingers a bit. Will definitely need more time with this model to suss out its longevity, but so far, so good.

Putting it together was easy without instructions. I love the mechanism for lengthening/shortening the (very long!) power cord. It's also SO quiet for what it is; I've never owned a vacuum that made such a gentle noise, lol.

This looks like an awesome commercial vacuum, and its cutesy appearance is just a plus. Will return in a few months if/when I have more to say.

perfectly so I didn't bother to unpack the new one that I bought untill last month my tenant moved out, so I unpack this vacuum and started to used it, not event 10minutes later I found it doesn't suck well at all so I checked it and found the crap design filler have some dust and clog up so I changed it and again 10 min later it happened again, no wonder they gave me I think 10 crap filter, if you used this worse vacuum cleaner, you probably ends up spend more time to change filter then cleaning.I was using on hard wood floor and tiles, and this morning I was using it again to vacuum my daughter's car and wasn't that dirty but I have to stopped twice to clear the filter. DON'T BUY THIS GARBAGE

the motor suspension rubber deforms (permanently) and allows dust into the motors. This in turn cause the motor to fail. This is a commercial vacuum. Using it for long periods shouldn't be a problem. Regular cleaning of the bags has not helped. Motors are half the price of the unit to replace. The motor suspension kits if you catch the issue early are in very short supply from Nilfisk. Just shake the vacuum up and down to see if your suspension rubber has deformed. You can feel the motor move around.

all those years ago. We purchased a Dyson stick vac to replace the Rainbow and it never achieved the same results which is now evident that we have the VC3 in our house. The amount of dirt, dust and stuff this gets out of our carpets is just incredible. Very satisfying to use. Would give this a score of 9/10. Value for money it’s a 15/10.

to bits due to the size of the job. The Stihl is the first commercial unit that we've tried. Firstly, it is light and very easy to pull around. The large wheels glide over all surfaces easily. The controls are minimal - perfect for a commercial machine. Basically, on/off. The switch is an excellent design and is easy to use. The wands are made of a lightweight metal and the fittings are simply friction plastic fittings which is in line with most vacuum cleaners. Time will tell how robust this arrangement is. Another bonus is the sound level. The vacuum is pleasantly quiet and quite a bit quieter than some of the domestic machines we have used. The vacuum comes with one disposable bag which is huge and should last quite a while. The good news was that you do not need to use the bag if you don't want to. You can simply vacuum away with the dust going into the large bin which you then empty into the garbage. This will cause a pretty major dust storm unless you are careful but it means that you don't have to go buying dust bags all the time. This is a good thing. There is a separate kit if you intend to use it as a wet cleaner - we are not intending to do this though. All in all, this is a well designed and constructed machine that does the job well. Anecdotal evidence suggests that the unit should last well into the future.

fibres, makes it impossible for my stick vac to effectively clean them. So wanted something with some serious grunt. This machine has it. It picks up kitty litter buried in the pile (reconstituted pine pellets) and cleans around the edges of rooms much, much better than any other cleaner I've tried (stick vac and sweeper). I've only given it 4 stars rather than 5 because: 1. On page 2 of instructions it states for domestic use only, but it's called a commercial vac! and 2. The plastic hose extensions are push in with no 'catch' so can come apart when using. Pictures are of before and after cleaning kitty litter from thick rug. This vac doesn't slide easily over thick pile, so I used it in one direction - pull; so best for hard surfaces and low pile carpets. Suction too strong for some uses. Very, very good suction.
