Their platform doesn't seem to be a serious one, because I had similar issues recently and noticed they filter pretty much all my messages containing address, phone, etc. Have you tried to contact the support? I didn't get a helpful answer from their support either. Example of removed message: "Yes i will need to come out n have a look".

Hi,I posted a task a week ago, the task was assigned but he was no longer available on the agreed time and date and kept changing his mind to reschedule but we are not available on the time and date that he wants. I canceled the task and created another one, but I have not received any refund to fund the new task money still being held. I wanted to accept the offer of another tasker, but it requires me to pay again. Can you please help us resolve this. I want to get this done but how come I have to pay again, i requested cancellation of the old task because it keeps getting assigned back to that old tasker that I don't want to, I want someone who is reliable.
Hi Dora, when a task is cancelled, your payment may be returned as Airtasker credit, depending on the task price. This setup allows you to use the credit immediately if you decide to repost the task. You can check your Airtasker credit balance under 'Payment methods' in your account.
If you would prefer the payment to be refunded to your card, simply reply to the cancellation email, and we will gladly process that for you.

Why has Airtasker blocked my 8 year Airtasker profile.
I had 8 years of 5 star reviews.
I was national Airtasker of the year 2021 & another tasker called [Name Removed] from [Content Removed] threatened me in public on the app.
What did Airtasker do!!!! NOTHING.
Airtasker banned me for sending them a stern E-Mail warning.

My partner uses Airtasker for his work and sadly finds this problem even when not trying to break any rules. And so hard to get a reply or contact any customer service. Hope one day soon Airtasker could have a phone line or could look after their taskers a little better

I really hope so. My partner has checked his moderated content over and over and there’s no link of anything attaching any comment to any of his information and here he is restricted. Hope someone replies soon. Would be great if Airtasker got a phone line with customer service to support the taskers a little more :)

My friends Airtasker has been restricted even though he’s not sharing any personal information How long would this last for ? He’s a great tasker 100% completion rate. All great reviews. He’s emailed Airtasker over 5 times and no reply in 48 hours ! Airtasker is his only income. What’s going on with super slow replies and this kind of customer service ?

As for the payment, when a customer accepts an offer from a tasker, the offer price is immediately deducted from the customer's account and held securely in Airtasker Pay until the task is completed. This allows customers to release payment when their task is completed and taskers can work at ease knowing that the task payment is securely held while they do the task. In the case that a task isn't completed and is cancelled, the task payment will be returned to the customer's account accordingly. They forgot to tell you that it will take them 7+ business days for them to pay you, that's after youve completed the task and payment has been released

It generally takes between 3-5 business days for the payment to clear into your nominated account. Please note that this is the maximum timeframe, with most payments arriving earlier rather than later, depending on your bank.
Airtasker will remove you from the platform for reporting matters to the support team. I was on the app for 8 years & after a new tasker [Name Removed] posted my full name, phone number, address & my wife's name I lost the plot with Airtasker Support & they banned me!!!!!

I book a task on the 5th of October 2023 and accepted offer from tasker. than my app was updated. after returning to the app. I found task had been deleted, so I rebooked task with same tasker. after task was completed, I released task amount only to find I had be billed twice. how do I get a refund.

I am fairly new to the platform yesterday evening while I was tasking my account got temporary restricted for some reason can you please look into this matter as soon as you can. Because I don't have any work and I am completely rely on airtasker to pay my bills and put some food in front of my table. Airtasker are like that, you will not get a response & if you do it will be an automated random response. I was on the app for 8 years, I was national Airtasker of the year & I was coached into giving false information on earnings! Another new tasker leaked my full name on the platform & threatened me with violence on the app.
