Hi my baby is premi baby, he is 6 months now, currently giving aptamil allerpro 1. Do we have to change in no.2 or we can still continue giving no.1. Does it really make difference?
Hi Sudeshna, for a prem baby, use the corrected age when changing to the next stage till baby is 12 months of age. The Stage 2 formula is more reflective of the nutrient needs of a baby aged 6 – 12 months and able to support healthy growth and development as a part of a mixed diet. Saying that though, as a baby is also getting more nutrition from food after 6 months of age, a stage 1 formula is suitable to use past 6 months of age too. hi, my daughter usually drink neocate junior formula, but it's really hard to find it in Australia. so i want to try aptamil allerpro and i just wondering does it have a vanilla smells? because i tried the goats formula and it smells vanilla she hate it. your reply will help me a lot. thank you

We have just transitioned to Apatamil Allerpro for bub. He has been diagnosed with CMPI . We were on Novalac Allergy and he was amazing on it.. one poo a day, not fussy or unsettled, feeds where stretching and he slept really well. We can’t get that formula anyyyyywhere so our paediatrician suggested a soy one and well bubs becamse super unsettled and gassy etc so we just swapped to the Allerpro as that was another suggestion from Dr. Bub seems less gassy and not as unsettled but he does not drink at full bottle anymore, he doesn’t stretch his feeds. Back to feeding every 2 1/2 to 3 hrs ( baby is 3 months) and he doesn’t sleep well during the night anymore. And does poos all the time. Anyone else experiencing this. I wish Novalac formula was so easy to get because we would go back to that in a heartbeat
Hi Chantal, it's not unusual for baby to have digestive and behavioral changes for a bit after changing formula- may take up to a week or 2 for this to settle. Has the Aptamil Allerpro Syneo formula been discontinued? Im really struggling to find it anywhere near me I've contacted over 15 different stores that usually stock this formula. Starting to stress because bubs has a dairy allergy

Can I make 150ml with 5 scoops in allerpro 2 like we did with number 1? Tin doesn’t give a guide for this amount.
Peta while we no longer use this formula as outgrown. From memory that formula is around 1 scoop every 30ml water. While the tin won't say you should be able to look at the other suggestions on their and work from that. Hope this helps

Hi Peta, yes you can certainly make up the Aptamil Allerpro 2 in any multiples of 30mls eg 1 scoop to 30mls of water, 2 scoops to 60mls...5 scoops to 150mls etc. Hope this helps:) Thanks, Hilary

Since giving this to my 8 month old she becomes extremely hyperactive is this a side effect?
Hi Jasmine, I don't know that this is related to the formula as it does not contain anything that could cause hyperactivity. Perhaps your little one is gearing up for a growth spurt or developing. Maybe your little one is teething which is causing her to become restless. Hi Paris, when we changed the label and name from Aptamil Allerpro Gold + to Aptamil Allerpro Syneo, we also upgraded it to contain probiotics and increased the level of omega fats. There are also minor formulation changes to some of the vitamins and minerals for Aptamil Allerpro Syneo. These are all great changes in term of nutrition. My little one is 5 weeks old and has had reflux/colic symptoms since day one. After trying 3 different formulasand things becoming so bad after soiled nappies filled with mucus I decided to try allerpro. Is it normal that after day 1 of being on this new formula she would be spewing even more?

Hi Josh, while Allerpro Stage 1 and 2 have the same base powder they contain slightly different levels of energy and nutrients to support babies’ daily nutritional requirements at different developmental stages. Hi AJ, the Allerpro formula is a very thin formula so yes, you can use Aptamil Feed Thickener if baby is showing signs of reflux on this. Hello Kris, most babies will be able to move between different stages with no issues, however if your bub is more sensitive to change then we recommend a slower transition. You can do this by either alternating bottles or mixing the stages in the same bottle together. It tastes and smell really weird ? Is that normal
Hi, my 11 month old has been on Allerpro since 6 months of age. Since the formulation has changed he is constantly having wet poo / farts poo out - the same reaction he gets to normal formula with normal amounts of dairy protein. Are we still able to purchase Gold + from somewhere??? I'm not sure what to do it's been 3 weeks & daycare won't have him because he has wet poos! My toddler is on the stage 3 and he has been complaining of sore tummies ever since we changed over also?
Is this subsidised in New Zealand when you get a prescription?
