Hi I'm trying to get in contact with AVG regarding my Vietnam/Cambodia trip which was paid in full prior to Covid in March 2020. We didn't get a refund and would like to look at dates we can now travel however I'm now concerned given no reply via emails or phone calls.

Hello, good luck, I've been chasing them up for almost two years. I was given a credit but never received a thing. I too have tried calling, emailing, facebook messenger, they all go unanswered. I have contacted Fair Trading, unless I seek legal action, there isn't much more they can do. I don't have much hope I'll ever see the light of day of money or my "travel credit" that they said I would get.

Perhaps you should try David.Dao@asiavacationgroup.com.au or reservation@asiavacationgroup.com.au. If that fails, go to the ACCC as they have a form of changing their T&Cs after they have taken funds.

I tried the reservations email, but I'll give this david one a go. I tried everything but staff turn over must be as each time, even prior to booking, I got a new person to deal with! I tried the ACC myself, again, was told I would need to go down the legal rabbit hole

Hi Samantha and David I will also try again with emails but if need to seek legal well I have to weigh up the costs. I already paid out nearly $8k for trip with extras, lost our flights and accommodation from Port Macquarie to Sydney.......

Hi everyone just so you know after contacting them numerous times I finally got onto Hans and my holiday is still good to go this year. Thank goodness

Oh really thanks for the information. Looks like we can't travel until next year because of work commitments now. (eye roll) I'm ok with this as long as our credit remains. I will certainly contact them. Cheers

They cancelled our trip 7 times using the same 'not enough people' excuse. The last cancellation was made 3days before we were supposed to leave. They are NOT a member of AFTA so these thieves make their own rules.

OMG really! They have rebooked our trip for September this year. We have needed to lots of organisation for this trip to happen plus paid another $300 each as September is the higher month to travel. Thanks for your feedback I will be contacting them daily to make sure this trip is happening.
