I have been offered a job at Australian Power Saver for entry level sales, door to door. It the introduction they said something like they are funded or the Aus Solar Co supplies them with the Solar Panels..Not sure whether Australian power Saver is a legit or not. Any information that you can provide on it?

The quality and life expectancy of the solar panels and inverter will determine the cost.

Wow . I just got a quote from them and we were ready to sign . Then I read all these reviews . Apparently my $1000 bill will go down to $100 . Is any one seeing this in there bills ? $20,000 for a 10 Kw system .

I have 24 panels and save about $800 per year but suffer from roof leaks under the panels and had to spend $1000 to add pigeon proofing mesh. I don't think it's worth it. The feed-in tariff is very low now (6.6 cents per kWh from the Chinese-owned Energy Australia) and we still have to pay for power at night. Only worthwhile if you're home all day (when it's sunny).

I wish I had read the reviews before I signed up for solar with this company but ended up getting them taken off our roof as we have no confidence in dealing with them

We have a 5kw system and the saving is quite small, compared to JohnJ s quote. Several factors affect the output of the system such as time of year, and any neighbourhood trees, and cloud cover. We are satisfied with our system.

If you havnt got multiple quotes already with other companies I highly recommend you do. You’ll save on the cost of the product as well as your bill by going elsewhere

Recently had solar installed and so far the best return I’ve had for a month is $40. I’m still paying my full bill as well as to the solar company. Has anyone had similar issues? So far the only response I’m getting is to just use power during the day when I’m at work. Feeling pretty frustrated and more financially stressed. Thanks

Funny how nearly all the reviews are about how the company is responsive, the installers were polite and tidy, they're so professional...but that's not the point, is it? (Did they have a script, or what?)

All these reviews bar a couple that are to the point, are done before anyone sees returns, and before they've been billed. Its not free; your bill is going to be the same because you will be paying the company back out of any power savings you might have made.

Yeah, I'm sceptical about the paying back process and how long it's take to actually pay it off entirely.

5 years for 10k and 120 a quarter for 1 person household. I still cook on a camp stove in the kitchen and use small air fryer, toaster and deep fryer.
