I got my money back everyone!! I contacted The Australian government Anthony Albanese.. explained my circumstances to him. He sent my letter to the minister for skills and training Brendan O'Connor MP and I received a letter saying that AIPT had demonstrated inappropriate conduct and that the fees and charges would be repaid to my hecs.. please start writing letters!!! Straight to Brendan O’Connor MP..

Can you please provide us some proof??

Nat

You gave them 5 stars.. Why do I need to provide you proof?! Some of us have had terrible experiences with this company. They are corrupt.. This company needs investigating and I’m now going to take this further now that I have evidence of inappropriate conduct.. If you look at my one star review you’ll see a letter attached as proof from the office of Brendan O’Connor MP. And you can see that the fees and charges will be and have been repaid back to my hecs!! They are scum!!! You probably work for them!!!

Hi Natalie, We acknowledge your feedback and understand your frustration. However, we respectfully disagree with your characterisation of our actions. The decision to credit your VET FEE-HELP loan was made by the Department under the Redress Measures, and thus we are not afforded the opportunity to formally respond to any allegations put forward by you directly to the Department. We are confident that if the Department had sought our perspective, or your full enrolment file, we could have provided information demonstrating that your claims of misconduct are substantially unfounded, and AIPT's adherence to the Australian Governments Department of Education and Training’s 2015 VET FEE HELP guidelines - which at the time your enrolment with AIPT was subject to.

We are happy to provide this information directly to the VET Student Loans Ombudsmen, or the Deprtment directly if requested, including the substantiated grounds from AIPT as to why the decision to provide a direct recredit to you was declined.

We are committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity and compliance with all relevant regulations. Additionally, we are also committed to improving any short falls in our student's experience and are willing to take on board any feedback you may have.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you would like to provide any feedback directly.

Best regards, AIPT.

I was supposed to get my Certificates in February of this year, but they won't give them to me because they are questing 2 postal Screenings that DON'T EXIST nor that we were never instructed to do. I want to sue them, but can't because I've put all my money into this course. I can't even call them because they want me to pay, FOR A PHONE CALL.

They stole my 700 dollar deposit. I havent done the course and i have debt collectors chasing me for the rest

I second the class action Natalie N. We need to get rid of this organisation so they stop scamming people... I know I’ve financially and mentally struggled because of them!!

Has anyone here actually got their Certificates? They are asking me for work that we never did, I finished all the work just over a year ago and I still haven't got it.

Count me in for a class act , I’m in a similar situation to josh where I’ve withdrawn due to financial hardship and even though I explained that they still demand full payment.

I am definitely interested in belonging to a class action against them. They refuse to give any refunds or waive fees not what a uni of TAFE would do.

I feel your pain, I lost $3000+ on a PT course I never even started and have a $8000+ debt from the nutrition course I also never completed. Signed up on false promises back in 2016 and received no help. You guys need to email quality@aipt.com with your grievances and if your not satisfied with their response ask for it to be reviewed then take the next step by going to your states ombudsman! I’m currently on that journey as mine is V.E.T help. Otherwise I’m 100% in for the class action! How do you start?

They signed me up through a door knocker back in 2014 with a gift of a laptop to sign up. Was told the assessments were multiple choice and that I wouldn't have to pay anything until I got a job after graduating. They are deceitful and dodgy. I am now taking action against them by contacting the ombudsman. I encourage everyone to do the same against this company.

I'm definitely keen to be involved in a class action. I've requested a refund due to their ongoing and unbelievable incompetence which they denied but I want to take it further, probably to the ombudsman at the least. It's a daunting process but if we all work together we can hopefully get somewhere. I searched on Facebook for AIPT Class Action but nothing came up.

I managed to get a partial refund/discount for my Cert 4 PT course. Ask to speak to the Quality team and have evidence to back yourself up. Dont allow customer service to answer your questions, they twist the facts and try and resolve things without the knowledge. They keep phone calls for training purposes so if you remember the dates then ask for those.

WOULD LOVE TO GET INVOLVED. I have a course I was signed up to in 2015, I've tried to get removed, completed 0 units and was promised the world and that I didn't need to pay if I didn't complete. Signed up via Facebook with a company called Keep Learning Pty Ltd which is no more and was promised I'd get paid money signing others up. Now in $16k debt on the VET Help scheme and AIPT wanted me to pay another 1200 to have the opportunity to complete the course. Um no. Not getting another cent.

Has anyone had any luck with getting these debt collectors off your back? I am so upset and they are bullying me. I don’t know what to do but I can’t pay this course. I was lied too

I'm sorry to hear that there's so many of you suffering the same despair as my son, l thought l was going to lose him from the mental anguish of this cooperate bullying. He has been paying for a course he didn't even start as he gave up his job and withdrew to care for his 94 yr old grandmother but this wasn't a good enough reason. Where's the understanding compassion and integrity of these businesses. I'm not sure of everyone's stories but l urge you to stop paying, seek legal advice and send letters of demand for a full refund. Also remember we had a thing called covid that turned everything upside down. Stay strong and don't give up guys. I will post an update to keep you informed

Any news on a class action? I’m in! These thieves need to do hard time for their crimes against hard working honest Australians. This scam organisation needs to be shut down permanently. I’d like to comment on this website productreview should be ashamed of itself for giving an obviously fraudulent company and award for it fake reviews.. shame! AIPT.. Shame! Productreview.

Nat

Hi everyone.. I’m Nat the one that wanted to start a class action. I got my money back after all these years.. 8 years it’s taken to get the money back! I ended up writing a letter to Anthony Albanese explaining my circumstances and asked that he please help after multiple failed attempts to get the fees and charges off my hecs.. He wrote me a letter that he had sent my letter to the minister for skills and training. I then received a letter from them that AIPT had conducted themselves in appropriately and that the fees and charges would be refunded to my hecs. I then waited 90 days for the fees to be repaid. They have finally been paid back to my hecs after 8 years.. the relief I feel is beyond measure. I cannot believe it. I want to help other people. Please send a letter to the minister for skills and training Brendan O’Connor MP. external link  Explain your circumstances and the amounts you have been charged and ask that the fees and charges be repaid and remitted.. everyone needs to bombard this guy about this corrupt provider and hopefully they will launch an investigation!
