Babylove Ezy Switch Questions & Answers
VerifiedI have my 2 and a half year old in forward facing, but the shoulder straps are now impossibly tight and only loosen up a little bit. I’ve loosened the adjuster strap as much as possibly but this only give the shoulder a little bit of slack. Any ideas/solutions welcomed because everyday is a fight to get her in the car.
Hi TeeJay C. Thanks for your question. In order to have more length on the straps, you will need to ensure that the headrest is raised and adjusted correctly according to your Childs height. Please feel free to email au-support@britax.com and provide us with the some photos so that we can assist you further. Kind regards, the Babylove team.
I can barely move the adjuster strap whilst trying to tighten then straps on my son. It literature won't move and the straps aren't quite tight enough. Any ideas why?
It turns out it’s a fault. I have to take min in to a repair centre to have it looked at, same with my mums. Luckily a family friend who works for britax ordered these seats for us so has organised the Return to their specified place to fix.
I would suggest contacting the place of purchase and saying your seat is faulty and either needs repairing or replacing. The straps definitely should not do this as I’ve asked several ppl in the child restraints page on Facebook and they say there’s definitely is easy to adjust.
Sounds like you and me were unlucky in getting a faulty batch
That's very annoying! But thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I'll let the seller know!
Just bought mine brand new and the stabalizing bar for rearward facing keeps popping out when i try to install in the car. Any ideas?
Hi Lozza, I've read this is a common problem but it hasn't happened to me yet. Sorry but I don't know if there is a solution.
I have recently purchased this product, but am having a lot trouble to get it stable in my Nissan Altima. I have followed the instructions but it doesn't seem to stay in a firm position. My vehicle is fitted with ISOFIX . Can anyone tell me if I can buy isofix accessories for this particular model.
Have you tried a Lockie clip?
are new straps available? The dog chewed through one of the existing straps and I need to replace the full set of straps. The seat had never been used so was/is effectively brand new.
