All of a sudden, I'm unable to hook the group handle into the right hand side of the machine to make shots. I remember having this problem with my last machine but it was the left hand side and you had to slide a part to make it fit. I can't find any moving parts on the right hand side.
My machine won't brew and makes a sound like the motor is struggling to work. I've tried changing the grind, but that doesn't help. I also noticed that despite cleaning the wand and tip and backwashing the machine yesterday, the steam isn't creating the "ball of foam" that used to form when I circled the milk pitcher. Does anyone have answers?
My machine is still under warranty and is doing exactly what your machine is doing. Apparently it is a common problem. Getting picked tomorrow on its way to the service center for the second time for a different issue.
Thanks Joe. The machine started working properly all by itself. I think the problem was I wasn't letting out the steam.
Our Oracle Touch BES990 is displaying 'Operation Error ES12 major fault & shut machine down and & to contact Customer Service Centre'. They are closed during weekend. Can someone advise what ES12 means please.
Hi I tried a descale which helped for 2 days then the error reoccurred. We contacted the Customer Service Centre who authorised our local agent to repair it; it turned out to be leaking O rings that needed replacement Cheers Ianb
Can someone please let me know where to find the password for my BES990 advanced menu and/or tell me how to call up how many coffees the machine has made? cheers
1. turn the machine off and unplug it 2. while holding the on/off button, plug it in 3. keep holding the button until the Service Info menu shows 4. password is 00000
Recently my 1cup filter basket get stuck after the pour. Portafilter comes uff but not the basket. I called breville and the suggested I change the grind to more course but then I don’t get the crema. I tried dying the basket that too didn’t help. Suggestions? I don’t think there is a service center in Hawaii? Thanks Al
Sorry I’m in Australia- we don’t use the one cup but it does flip out with a spoon
