Breville the Quick Stack LPC140SIL Questions & Answers
VerifiedMPNs: 728309 and LPC140SILWhy do my pancakes always stick to the machine and tear in half every single time I’ve used it? Others have had the same problem, see above reviews. Is this a specific fault of some machines? I gave up trying even after seasoning the “non stick” plates. It currently lives in it’s box languishing in some back corner of my kitchen cupboard. Much easier and less waste cooking my pancakes the old fashioned way.
I can’t say I have had them stick at all ,try a little butter or oil smeared very lightly on the plates before you put the batter on or a little in the mix..if that does not help contact Breville
I always spray olive oil, never had a problem
We purchased this last xmas and to date have not been able to get a decent pancake from it at all! No matter the batter recipe we use, the pancakes come out looking golden and yummy but they are tuff to eat and are very dense (sometimes not cooked properly) in the centre. What are we doing wrong?
I found you have to use the one third of a cup that it says to use and make you don't use more than it says even though it looks a little under as it will puff up and use a wet batter rather than a thick one
thanks. will give it a try!
Totally agree, though batter recipe I use is buttermilk waffles. It does take some getting used too. Less is better, but overtime confidence builds
Purchased this last week and it hasn’t made a difference what we have done not 1 decent pancake
