Hi there.
Brought a 2nd hand cardio tech 9x pro 2 and it has been a dream up until last Friday. Ran for half an hour and noticed my 2% incline changed to 0% and felt the deck lower. When I tried to turn it up the buttons would not work. Then I couldn’t slow down the machine using both up and down buttons, then the stop button wouldn’t work resulting in me pulling the safely thing off. Started the machine up on Sunday and it worked like a dream, until this morning - displaying the same problems. I really love this machine and am hard at running right now so don’t want to be without. Any suggestions on what to do?
The sticker at the front says manufactured in 2015.
Cheers,
Jen

HI Jacqui, you can purchase multi-purpose silicone spray from your local hardware store and this is the easiest to apply. Any issues contact us on 1300135596 as Product Review is not a part of CardioTech and not monitored.

Hi, I have a 2nd hand cardiotech x9 which is over 10 years old and hardly used. It was my brothers so know the machine. The belt started slipping after I had done about 50 kms interval training on it. The belt was correct tension, I lubricated it with Silicone spray but still slipped. Tightening belt made no difference. I’m fairly competent with mechanics so stripped off the belt, rollers and deck, cleaned all residue with a wire brush and metho on rollers and hot, soapy water on belt and deck, all seemed too greasy. Reassembled, still slipped. I saw a cheap one for sale locally, bought it and proceeded to swap bits til I discovered my brothers front roller was slipping. Roller from second machine rectified the problem. Seemed odd, I couldn’t feel any movement between the roller and attached drive pulley but there you go. The donor machine was well used but was working fine til it gave a bang and threw the rcds in my shed. No idea what caused that but, anyway, have one good working one. I like the product, had another older one, also 2nd hand and it got hammered for years before it finally died. Sorry for the ramble, thought you’d be interested. Is that unusual for the front roller. I’d also like a manual, do you sell them separately? Also, do these machines have a fuse and where is it, please? Thanks. Oh, and I’ve ordered some proper silicone lubricant, think the 3-in- 1 Silicon Spray Lubricant I’ve been using is too greasy. I had the first machine for probably 10 years and think I lubed it once, it was great.

Hi,
I brought a second hand breakfree, they said they only used it about 5-6 times in the couple years they had it. But ever since I got it it’s so noisy when walking or running. Kind of like a creeking noise when stepping on it. How do I fix this?
Thanks heaps :)
