Sounds like the machine just needs lubrication of the deck which they normally require every month for general maintenance.

Hi Michelle.
Have you inserted the Safety Key that comes with the unit?
It wont work if safety key is not inserted.

Hi Michelle S,
My treadmill may be experiencing the same issue as yours. My power light comes on, but there is nothing happening on the console/screen. I've got the Safety Key inserted too. Is there a solution?

Cardiotech
Cardio T.Cardiotech

Hi Luucy, please contact us directly at www.cardiotech.com.au via our website email forms, online chat or call on 1300 135 596. We can then have our service team in touch to assist as the product review website has nothing to do with the company. We recommend people contact us directly for assistance rather than an online forum that is not continually monitored.

Hi there,

My in-laws have a cardiotech x3 and someone has fiddled with the settings. Now when they press the '+' button it moves the speed to 13 and when they press the '-' button it also increases the speed, but by 0.1 at a time.

How can I fix this?

Can you tell me if the x5+ inclines? It mentions this briefly in the manual but can't seem to find where it would??

Tracy

Hi Tracy, the incline buttons are normally on the left hand side of the machine. So if they are there, on the left side of the console or the left handlebar.

Siraj

Sirajasked

Hi, I have a Cardiotech X9+ treadmill. I am unable to fold the treadmill as it does not like lock when held upright. Can you please assist? Thanks

1 answer
Cardiotech
Cardio T.Cardiotech

Hi, this is normally due to the machine having the incline on. Normally all treadmills will not fold up and click into place if the incline is up at all.
Best thing to do is put the deck but down, turn it on so the deck starts moving and then on the left hand side press the down button to put the incline all the way to 0.
When it finishes going down, turn the machine off and it should click up into place.
Otherwise, please call through on 1300 135 596 and we can have our service team in touch to assist if that does not work.

Kylie

Kylieasked

I can’t lower the running deck can you remind me how to do this

1 answer

Hi Kylie,
Normally there is a lever or knob underneath the machine which needs to be pulled/pushed in depending on the model and then you can simply lower it down.
If still any issues, please contact us on 1300 135 596
