I just wanted to say a huge thank you for all who posted reviews for what sounds like a total garbage product and company in chromagen. I hope you all manage to get a positive outcome. We're currently looking into having a hot water pump system installed and after reading the reviews for chromagen, there's no way in hell that I would even consider anything from them. I know someone who's had one of their systems installed recently and it looks like they're going to be in for some terrible experiences. After reading these reviews, we've definitely dodged the proverbial bullet.
At this stage Chromagen are just relying on their size and ignoring any communications. The various government agencies seem quite disinterested or unable to help - especially as the amount involved is less than $1000. Perhaps Ill just chalk it up to experience and be doubly careful next time! Thanks for your interest!

Had a system installed a few months ago, however, no plumbing compliance certificate was provided and company has been very elusive in providing one. Emails go unanswered, lots of promises over the phone but still no certificate.
I paid a $350 deposit but asked for a return when I decided not to go ahead with the system. Many times I have been told I will get the money refunded, but it has been a month now and nothing. When can I expect to get my deposit back??
It turned up only after I had contacted the ACCC. Took over 1 month, but it was done.
Just a quick question wit this chromagen hot water has anyone had issues with the taps in the shower getting a bit of static not sure if it’s too hot maybe something electrical?no issues others than this!anyone else had this issue at all?wanting any advice thanks..
I didn't had any of the aforementioned issue. Pls call Chromagen and I wish you luck if they attend to the complaint quickly.

Hi I got there hot water system and it works great never missed a beat. But dont go with there split system unit they are put in by dodgy brothers i had to have mine reinstalled and gassed 5 weeks after install as i am still waitng for them to ring me back.
so i see mostly negative reviews here, can anyone tell me if they are just chromagen hot water systems that are the issue? they are quoting me on a Midea pump system
Hello Lando H, Yes, it was the Midea Chromogen pump system we had. My advice is say “no, thank you”. Go for a system with a standard 10 year warranty.
Having issues with my Midea heat pump, my electricity bill doubled. System very rarely turns off. It's now on a timer. Don't expect any support as they just don't get back to you.
Terrible experience just these days. They are very hard to communicate. Only after I got trouble from the hot water, I start to know about the solar hot water system. leave them!

one year later, I will definetely get rid of the rubbish and change to Rinnai
Why is the hot water aerated all the time , fittings are secure.
Hi Ken don’t know why it did a lot of things including a pooping sound during the night. Did just about everything except function as it should have. Can’t help unfortunately.
Is Chromagen Model S2973 the same as model RSJ-23/300 RDN3-B? If not, what are the differences.
My Chromagen Solar Hot Water system has been a waste of money and effort. The system has failed 3 times in the five year warranty period - 3 tank failures; 4 panel failures. The latest tank is now leaking 12 months after installation. This will be the fourth major system failure in just over 6 years. Please advise whether any further warranty is available
i will replace it next year. Terrible service and product
How long is the warranty on hot water system
The screen has no readout , or what is the process you hsve do do to turn it on as I hsve no handbook?
