Conergy Questions & Answers
My plumber wants to know the date of manufacture for a Conergy hot water system model number CSE315ST38. Can you help?
Hi, I purchased a house with a Conergy IPS 5 inverter. I'm trying to register it and the electric company are asking for a "reading", but I've got no instructions and I can't work out what figure to enter into their website. From searching online I can't find any useful information or a manual that describes what each value in the display actually represents. Any help would be much appreciated.
conergy WR 2300 Has State Sync 104 .. I’ve turned off trying to reset it but still says that when it comes back on … what could be the problem?
Can anyone take a photo of the external wire coming out of the solar controller panel? My dog has chewed this wire and I can’t remember where it goes to.
water is very hot so how do i turn temp down on the conergy tank system. cheers Keith
Hello Keith. Is your tank solar or electric? If it is solar then there is no way of reducing the water temperature; There is however a relief valve on the tank. This will lift when the water gets very hot. Alternatively, this relief valve can be manually operated. There should be a cord attached to the pressure relief valve operating lever. By pulling on this cord it should/will lift the valve thus allowing hot water to escape. Cold water will enter tank with a resulting drop in water temp. If you are getting excess temperature turn off the power to the tank and only heat the water with solar. I turned off the power to mine and always had ample hot water. If your tank is only heated electrically there is a an adjustment on the heater element that can be turned down using a small bladed screw driver. Hope this works. I personally have never had this problem\
Is Conergy solar panels the best or are there better ones
Don't touch Conergy. I thought they had gone out of business..,w
Thanks
We have a 415ltr Conergy solar hot water tank split system with 2 collectors - up to now the unit would produce hot water at the taps for around 4 days of heavy cloud weather - the fifth morning required the electric booster to be turned on. Now in any weather, the pump is running at night and of course this mixes the water and in the morning it is just warm - what are the possible problems - "thermostat" situated on the lower outside of the tank or the "sensor" on the panels?
Can you adjust the temperature setting manually on the Conenergy 3150C224 unit. I live in far nth Qld and haven’t had to make any adjustments because our winters are so short. Much colder this year and I require the hot water last longer. Any comments welcome. Cheers Tim
What is the cost if I want to replace the template control of the solar panel hot water system (Conergy Water Mark) 300 L
Can you tell me the price of the temperature control of 300L Conergy solar panel hot water system
I have a conergy system model number cse325sm36. I am still getting hot water but there is no water pressure. Help?
Where on the gold coast can I get a service. The solar pump is not working and the temperature at the sensors are 27 and 147. My electricity for hot water has gone fr om $7 to $140. Your advice would be appi reciated
Turn the booster on for hours and water doesn't get any hotter and stays freezing cold. Help!!
It sounds like a job for a professional- plumber or electrician!!
Cheers
J
Looks like the heating element has failed. Simple test: does your electricity meter spin faster when you switch on the booster? It should, if not call a Sparkie...

i need a 315 ltr reservoir for my conergy system any ideas Roland
Sorry Roland. I offer no technical expertise or opinion, however if it’s got the name Conergy in it I’d be running the other way!!!
Cheers
We have a Conergy WR 2300 solar system, the screen reads TEST and Im not sure it is working because the origin bills have gone up by 25%. Can you please advise?
I’m so sorry Alex, but I’m not familiar with any other Conergy systems other than the ‘dog’s breakfast’ I had. If you could source the installer or at least an instruction manual....
Regards
Jonny
Alex, I have no experience with a Conergy PV system, only with the Conergy solar hot water system. I have a PV system from another brand (a Woman's spark) of which I am very content. Contact the installer or read the manual to see what is going on.
It can be that the net voltage is too high (happened in my case) which caused my PV system to shut down intermittently.
First the installer came out who had no way of helping me. Then a Western Power contractor came out who connected my house to a different phase (there are 3 phases at the power dome) which had a lower voltage. System has worked fine since.
Good luck, Bart
Hi Alex, I have the same TEST on screen on my Conergy WR2300- how did you go with yours- any luck fixing it?
I have a Conergy 415L split hot water system. The TS ( tank storage) sensor can read as low as 25C but water after dark comes out of the tap blisteringly hot. I thought the incoming cold water would bring the overall temperature down but this does not seem to be the case. Any thoughts? I have also taken out the safety cold water mixer on the outside of the tank. A bit naughty l know and l am going to put it back. But has anyone else had a similar experience?
My hunch is that your temp sensor is broken and the water is a lot hotter.
Incoming cold water is kept separate from the hot water with a baffle, it will take a long time to mix.
The temperature sensor is working fine. It's just unusual that the water behaves that way. Eg a hot bath is pretty much the same temperature everywhere. It must be the baffle. Thanks for your input. It's a great system btw. Gets a lot of negatives here but ours has been going strong for over 5 years now.
we have a conenrgy split system solar water heater , a few days ago I had to replace washers on one of our toilet systems , so I turned the water mains to the house off. Ever since the pressure from all the hot water taps and shower has been very low. I've turned the mains water off many times before but this has never happened . Anyone with any ideas for a solution , I've tried the pressure valves on the hot water tank and no result ....HELP!!! PLEASE
Have you checked that the main valve is fully open? And to confirm, it's only the hot water that is low pressure?

I have a ETN grid PV inverter how can I tell if I'm using the power direct from the panels during the day it's seems all the power generated goes to the grid and I use from the grid?
I’m sorry Bev, I’m not a PV expert. My only advice would be to contact your installer or a company with solar expertise.
Regards
Jonny
Look at your inverter and find the total amount of units generated. Then look at your bill and see how much has been exported back to the grid. Also, check to see how fast your meter light is flashing during the day. If you have appliances on and your light flashes slow or not at all, then you are probably using all the power you are generating.
I have a conergy 300 litre closed system . Even after days of fine weather the water temperature is still at best less than lukewarm ? Any suggestions to increase efficiency ?
You may not like the answer but it looks like you are buying another unit I would say that your thermostat has had it allowing cold water in and continuing the water cycle .Also check if the unit is leaking that happens very sneakily so check your gutters for a leak.
There is a temperature reducing (mixing) valve in your system. It mixes the water from the tank (which should be close to boiling) with cold water so you don't get boiling water out of your tap. You can change the setting on that or it might be seized.
Feel the lines that come out of the tank when your hot tap is on. If they feel too hot to touch, it must be your mixing valve
So I don't get it, there's a Conergy Australia company still trading-. same name, logo, industry - but are under no obligation to deal with all of these systems that are going arse-up? How can this be legal? Can anyone explain? Mine too has rusted out and I'm up for 4.5k to replace it for a reputable system but seemingly nothing can be linked to the same Conergy still trading in the solar industry. this makes no sense. Anyone got an opinion?
The only way you are going to get any regress is to hire a lawyer there may be something in company law that allows someone to pay for a name . My best advice is to forget it put it down to a bad experience and buy one of the other brands that have good backup service , you can always slag the companies of on Facebook providing you state the truth.
Fortunately for me I had another firm install the conergy system so they were accountable for the warranty, ie I didn't have a contract with Conergy. I was then able to use the consumer law with the installation company. They didn't like it but after some intense arguing we reached a mutual agreement. I now have a new Rinnai tank installed.
Hi I finally got compensation my for conergy by going to the house and contents insurance company you need to get an electricians report about failure it has taken months just dont give up. The current conergy bought out the previous firm but did not take on the solar hws component so they will not accept responsibility. My installer was just a small operator so I didnt go that avenue but if you are dealing with someone larger it could be worthwhile. Good luck we now have a Rinnai
Thanks all. Appreciate your help.
