Please, you must reintroduce hard centres and toffee blocks. These were, by far, your best products.

Has darrell lea change its plan chocolate block we stopped eating chocolate many years ago because apart for aldi brand all the big name chocolate manufacturers chocolate became slimy in consistency and would just turn into a big gluggy mess in the mouth leaving me very disappointed did not even finish the last block then darrell lea started producing block chocolate and to our surprise it was a yummy blend and once again a very enjoyable experience so we started to buy alot of darrell lea chocolate variants . Now my question is have darrell lead changed the way they blend the chocolate as the last block we purchased a week ago was just the standard milk chocolate bar not the new smooth blend that they started to sell as we did not like that one as it was slimy but now the standard milk chocolate bar is the same have they messed around with the recipe we have stopped buying chocolate again sad to say .

I think you should try some other darrell lea products if they are no good try another brand chocolate in Australia in the last ten years is not the same as it used to be I reakon that that use to many imported products and imported manufacturing techniques

Well if you read my first question I said I have tried many of Darrel lea products and enjoy them I was only talking about the block of plain milk chocolate it has changed in the last month or so I tried their new smooth and creamy and did not like it but was able to buy the old standard block but on purchasing a new block last week was shocked by the taste and feeling of the chocolate in my mouth and also in my first message I said I have tried all the other brands the only one I would buy now would be one of the aldi brands .and by the way we have eating chocolate for over 65 years that puts us in a perfect position to know what we are talking about .thank you Howard .

I’ve never read such rude reply in all my life. In no way did Howard deserve a reply like that you pig. Typical know it all, no body cares how long you’ve been eating chocolate Graham. One thing is for sure, someone failed in teaching you to be pleasant.

Must be shocking to have such thin skin to get so offended over a simple thing as my post you really do need to chill out and to call someone a pig I think you need professional help . Said and done .

The more times products are sent to Chinese manufacturing the more they become powerful and the more likelihood it will come back as bullets and I don't mean chocolate ones. Signed Skippy

I’ve just bought a Darrell Lea Easter bunny but confused as to where it is actually made and where the ingredients come from. We need more transparency

Having been a fan of Darrell Lea (I used to work there when I was a teenager back in the 80s!) for years, I'm so disappointed by the Snow Bars being discontinued :( Please bring these back DL!

Ooh, they were my favourites too, along with peanut brittle. I worked in two Geelong stores when they first opened in 1959 & the early 1960’s We wore colourful smocks and huge bows!

Why did Darrell Lea discontinue Bulgarian Rock ... the first product sold by the man who started this great Australian company. No other company makes anything like it!!! Has anyone been able to find a similar product? Or as a last resort the recipe?

What happened to chocolate logs? The hard centred dark chocolate coated chocolate bar. It had coconut inside it was so good and I can’t find it or anything like it anywhere.

why have you stopped selling white chocolate bullets by themselves in packets. Biggest stitch up ..... love your work tho xx

I found them in my local store and they are still listed on the web

The packets state made in Australia. Although I have noticed they aren't as good since the packets went to paper from plastic. Not sure if this makes any difference but the whole reason Darrell Lea was separate from the pack with their bullets was they were soft, which equals morish, which makes you buy more...

Hi I have been enjoying Milk Chocolate bullets for a long time but the last 2 packets exp 9/2020 have been extremely bad the liquorice id thicker , Harder and rubbery . Has the recipe changed. Very sad please reconsider the liquorice.

I love them. Purchased the 750gm packets when they were on special. Their labels clearly state Made in Australia. Anyway I dont understand. How would the public know if the recipe has changed?

Why do you introduce new unpopular products now. the old saying 'if it's not 'broke' don't fix it'

Fired Up
Fired Up

You are misquoting. Introducing a new product is not the same as -fixing- an existing product. Anyway which -new- ones are unpopular ?

When is Darrell lea going to bring back walnut logs? I worked for nestle for 17 years and Cadbury for 2 years and I know that there was nothing on the market that resembled this product, you should be aiming for a point of difference with your competitors. There are blocks of chocolate in every flavour but they are all common whereas the walnut logs put your company into a niche unfilled in any country. Please consider a relaunch of this delicious product, I miss my special treat!

That's nonsense. Quadrant, an Australian company owns Darrel Lea and the Quinns still hold a good chunk of it. Anyway their chocolates are made in Australia.

Boris Yasminsky
Boris Yasminsky

What a load of crap Helen. You need to read the stock market news, not Wikipedia !.

Peter B.
Peter B.

I agree Lina, their choc walnut log set them apart from the rest of the world, so foolish not to bring it back!especially when they were always sold out of them. Boris, The thermomix recipe doesn't even come close, perhaps you never tried a walnut log from Darrel lea or you wouldn't talk nonsense.
