I purchased a Mk2 rotary clothesline from Bunnings, l I tried to click the head into position as per instructions, it won't hold and just clicks out straight away. I see lots of people have had the same problem. Please write down the fix and don't just refer me to customer service, Thankyou
Hi, I Just found the problem, The clothesline cord was looped around one one outer arm, I did not notice it until a closer inspection, Now clicks straight into position easily
Hi, I replaced an upper wind brake on my rotary line. Only problem now is the arms won’t click into place when pushed upwards. The slider contacts the wind brake but then just slides straight back up and the arm falls down. The yellow plastic ring at the top is broken now too . Do you have any tips? Thank you.

I have a Daytek M42 Clothesline that needs to go back to bunnings for replacement. How do you remove the top section?
The top does not come off but you can collapse it like a umbrella in reverse.. There is clip on ring the arms radiates from, release the clip and the arms will fold upwards as the ring slides down the centre post.
Have a Daytek Retractable Clothesline installed by Landscape gardeners in a new house build April 2020. This unit failed in August 2023. One of the rollers had seized. The body and other external panels were badly rusted. We do not live near the coast. Was told to return it to Bunnings by you who replaced it. This new unit 4 months old has seized another roller. The line only comes out about 2 meters. I am a mechanic, from the outside the line runs free then stops suddenly as if that particular roller has jammed. No amount of retracting and pulling will budge it. Details on my receipt 9312554414020 RETRACT 6LINE DAYTEK ANT/BLACK. Is there a later model or updated model as have had no luck with this LINE.

Can I replace the line in my daytek mk2 without buying the entire unit. This is our 2nd in 6 years and the plastic line is worn again in the recent one purchased as did the last one. The most recent purchase was only 2 years ago and we retract it after each use.

I purchased a daytek mk II (6 line retractable) in about 2018. We have found it to be a great product, used several times a week and retracted when not in use. It had a structural warranty of 15 years and line warranty of two years. So at five years with two frayed lines, I bought some Daytek line and went to replace but after not finding "line replacement" instructions, I called Daytek and learned the line is NOT accessible or replaceable! Does anyone have a solution without having to replace the complete unit?

Hi George, our Rotary clotheslines are pre strung. Our Fold Down Clotheslines range are required to be strung, however the process is very simple. Please call the Customer Service Team on 03 9470 1755 if you require any further information.

Hello, I have a daytek rotary clothes line. I cannot get the clothes line out of the ground. I cannot get the locking ring to "release" and am nervous that if i use too much force I will break the plastic. Any thoughts?

Can you share the solution here? I (and likely many others) have a similar problem.
Turned out mine wasnt even locked in. It was just stuck with sand and dirt. I had to pull it hard and out she came.
I purchased a Mk2 rotary clothesline a few days ago from Bunnings, installation went perfectly until I tried to click it up into the open position. Takes 2 of us to push it up but it won't hold and just clicks out as soon as we let go. Is this a fault?

Can you buy new ends for the rotary clothesline arms. Each arm has a loop where you can hang clothes - mine are all broken & I’d like to replace them.

Just installed a model 38 Mk2. Installed as per instructions but the centre pole wobbles inside the ground socket, which is cemented in. Is this usual or is it a fault?
