I placed an order with Etsy. Unfortunately i gave the wrong email address. I have been trying to send the correct email address but etsy wont allow me to contact the seller without an email from etsy to link. Which i cant do because i gave the wrong email address

Etsy are no help to sellers. It’s almost impossible to get any sort of resolution from Etsy. If sellers try to point out an issue they are ignored or even have their shop closed.

What does Etsy charge to list jewellery items for sale under $50.00 please?

More than a question it is a complaint; I bought beads on 6/10 so far I have not received anything; and etsy hasn't contacted me to tell me what happened; there is no place to complain; first and last time I buy something there. and I don't recommend it no no no

Unfortunately my experience was similar! Only part of the goods arrived and I have had no success with my complaints. I will not use again. KEEP AWAY!!!!!

It is waste of time i ordered 2 items one come the other newer, lost $49 because PayPal action expired. Don’t by from them .

On Etsy you pay using Paypal, so your complaints are handled by Paypal, who have a very efficient refund service and do not like scam artists. Etsy is a marketplace and is not like Ebay where you go direct to the company with your complaints, but it is up to you as a buyer not to be taken in by what is offered and to ALWAYS read the feedback, especially any negatives. Like all selling platforms now that allow individual sellers to sell on there ( Amazon included) the scammers enjoy the reputation of the platform to give them a good reputation. The last thing to know is that Etsy is an overseas company and is governed by the law in their home country which is not the same as here. Paypal however has an Aussie financial licence, so if you have done all the right things and you appeal to them they are bound to help you.

You can, Contact the seller. If the person ignores you, be sure to tell them that you are going to open a case with Etsy. Also tell them you are not happy and that will be reflected in your review of there shop. You only have a limited amount of time 3 months to do this. But make sure you do leave a negative review, it helps other shoppers. Don't mention Etsy or any third party in the review as it will be deleted by Etsy. You can also contact your credit card company.
