eXpansys Questions & Answers
VerifiedHi does anyone know how long they take to reply to a query. I’ve emailed them but no response as of yet
Is it alright to get a google nexus 5x phone in eXpansys as the difference between this one and kogan is nearly $100 so shall I get it or prefer kogan?
HI the Kogan stuff is in Australia while the expansys stuff is located in Hong Kong. If you're located in Australia and you have warranty concerns, perhaps it might be worthwhile exploring the Kogan Australia option if all specs are the same. Items purchased from Kogan Australia is covered under Australia consumer law.
Tbh my experience with Kogan warranty was terrible so not sure it really makes any difference that they are based in Australia.
so i put an order for an Asus Zenfone 2 (4gb) and i received an email asking to re-do the credit card details. has this happened to anyone, if so, did anything negative or positive happen? i'm not sure to put in the details once more.
Skeeb. I didn't have to enter my credit card details for a second time. So can't answer your question.
No didn't happen to me ...l'd be very careful if i were you
Are all the products original?
Original in the sense that if you purchase a Sony branded product it's genuinely a Sony product?
I believe so, though I have only purchased 2 phones from eXpansys. I can't vouch for the genuineness of every product in their catalogue.
I believe they are all original, but I think they are grey imports which means they have an Expansys warranty, NOT a manufacturer warranty. Any claims will be with Expansys not the manufacturer. (Unless the product has an international warranty)
Check the Expansys warranty carefully, I have seen some traps in there.
