I got sting by gqa too, signed up with skills certified recently , got a $400 discount on fee as skills certified were trying to help a little for those taken in by gqa . Got my cert lll in painting and decorating qualifications in 2 and a half weeks and got contractors licence this week . In short I had to pay again but skills were worth the money . Glenn

I've tried and emailed and called any number I could in relation. Nothing worked so far. There is no check and no legislation looks like. My hard earned money and time wasted.

Hi I paid $1600 for a RPL diploma in training and assessor. I have never heard back from them in regards to refuns or Diploma.

Hi Sharif, I would suggest that you get in touch with the liquidators. Email is: gqa@hallchadwick.com.au Basically, GQ Australia are in liquidation. From what I understand, CEO Adam Wadi is under investigation for misappropriation of funds.... My inquiries with hallchadwick suggest that they may sell GQ's client base to another RTO, you might be able to progress with them.

GQA are in liquidation. Why it has taken them a year I dont know. Sounds like they have deceived us all, taking money with no intention of honouring the enrolment or providing a qualification

Their licence has been cancelled and they have closed shop and disappeared. ASQA said that if and when they get information from GQ they will give students verifier numbers no refund no certificate.

I'm in the same boat. The company is amazingly still allowed to continue with completely unethical practices. I'm also seeking a refund but am not hopeful unless I join the thousands of others taking GQA to court.

I don't think they provide refunds. I'm still waiting going on 2 years now for my refund. They advertised 100% money back guarantee when I signed up. Paid in full and after submitting all my evidence and transcripts they said I had not enough evidence so I asked for a refund and like I said 2 years nearly and I'm still waiting. Hahahaha it's a joke this Get Qualified Australia. Total wast of time just go to a TAFE etc.... false advertising = scam. Get Qualified has also been taken to the federal courts and had its assets frozen. If you read the court document large amounts of funds have been transferred overseas to countries like Jordan and the United Arab Emirates. Red Flag kind of warning bells should be ringing. I complained to the ACCC about it. So let's see if the courts and the law actually really make a difference. Anyone with a situation with GQA contact the ACCC.

I am also waiting for a refund and I have contacted the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (ACCC). I have heard that with the trade certificate it will not be accepted. I have also read here that the certificates they have issued other unhappy customers are useless and the institutions they use have been shut down. I would like to ask GET QUALIFIED TO REFUND ALL OF US. Like it was stated on your website then removed 100% MONEY BACK GUARANTEE.

Hi Paulo, GQA is a Skills Recognition Specialist and not an RTO under ASQA and as such, GQA has not had its registration canceled. The ASQA decision has no bearing in our capacity to fulfill our legal obligations to our customers.

The hard copy of the certificate is usually sent a week or two after the soft copy is released, please expect yours very soon. You can also send us your full name so we can try to check the status directly. Thank you!

According to this if your approved work was submitted to an RTO you should still be able to get a certificate. Can someone please give more information on who is the RTO they used?

Hi Tanya, Get Qualified Australia provides skills recognition and RPL in partnership with a number of Registered Training Organisations, RTOs. Included in the partnered RTOs are: Get Qualified Australia College, RTO 41093; Get Qualified Australia Institute, RTO 41094 and Get Qualified Australia Trades Academy, RTO 41068. Issuance of Australian qualifications and Statement/s of Attainment is governed by the Australian legislation and may only be issued by an authorised RTO.

By way of clarification, a certificate is issued when the individual has been deemed competent in all units of competency to be awarded a qualification whether at a Certificate I, II, III or IV AQF level or Diploma, Advanced Diploma AQF level. In addition to being issued with a Certificate, a Record of Results or Testamur is provided detailing all of the units of competency achieved in attaining the qualification. In the event that the person only completes one or more units of competency, without completing a qualification, a Statement of Attainment is issued detailing the units of competency achieved.

The AQF, Australian Qualifications Framework provides guidelines as to the content required when Qualifications and/or Statement of Attainment are issued by Registered Training Organisations. This includes but is not limited to: identification of the issuing RTO; identity and signature of the authorised RTO representative; date of issue; the use of logos; document protection measures e.g. document number, company seal and other measures; qualification code and title; details of unit/s of competency including unit code and title; and identification of the recipient (recipient name).

This is a scam. Everyone who works at GQA are dogs.

Hi, please double-check that your new RPL is listed under training.gov.au. If not, any qualification you will get from them will be worthless. GQ is bound to Australian laws and they need to meet certain standards (they are indeed listed in training.gov.au) and they don't give you qualifications just because you pay them. The responsibility to prove what you claim to know is yours not theirs. Refund policy is in their terms and conditions, you are entitled to a refund only if the RTO refuses your application after GQ reviews and approve your evidence. And still, it is subject to review.

If you have anymore trouble contact the ACCC . You can just go to the ACCC website and contact them from there. The ACCC has taken get qualified australia to the federal courts and the courts have placed a freezing of assets on get Qualified.

This seems to be the same situation with who knows how many people. They are misleading and provide no refunds. This keeps happening over and over again. This Get Qualified is a total stuff up. Contact the ACCC and make your complaint.

Hey Paul stop paying them their just going to steal your money, i started last year in may, you give them all the evidence and they just keep asking for more. When you asked them time and time again what subjects they just reply with (we need more evidence) or (their just mapping it out) or ( just touching base to see if you have anymore evidence) ,on top of that i have 5 different Skills Recognition Facilitator

I have given them over 200 photos, 2000 documents, clips of myself do the work , letters from managers from 5 different companies and still no qualification.

I cant give them any more evidence so i should be able to get a refund right, WRONG ,this is what the said

Don't give them a cent. Stop payment to them straight away. This seems to be the same pattern with most people. If you find you need to make a complaint go to the ACCC website.

Hi Calv, Can't speak for your situation mate. However I had a great experience with them. 90 days and I received my qualification. I had to work hard but got it. It depends why you want a refund? Is it there fault you couldn't get qualified?

Moving large sums of money out of Australia, no wonder the federal courts have placed a freezing order on there assets.

This is Australia and we do have laws protecting us against scam business practice. It's funny how every week I notice bad reviews and then after a bad review 5 star reviews pop up to filter out the bad one. Text book scam. It's all tailored. I have also contacted the ACCC.

I was worried after all the ACCC news and the horrific reviews that are written but I'm just too old to go back to school and study. So I took a chance and I got my Diploma yesterday. I can't answer for everyone but it worked in my case.

Just to clarifies things up. I did a bit of research before going with these guys. GQ is listed as valid in training.gov.au (https://training.gov.au/Organisation/Details/41094). Also please contact (as I did) whatever Uni in Australia, they will confirm the same. If the company is listed as valid it will be considered legit (personally called Sydney UTS).

Another thing that is not clear to many of the people that apply here is that GQ will not give you a qualification just because you pay. You pay them for the service of facilitating interaction with an RTO on your behalf, to obtain something. The proof is your responsability not GQ. If you say you can demonstrate your skills and then you can't, well GQ people don't work for free and you will need to pay them either way and no refund, because that was your fault not theirs.

Make sure you are fully qualified and you can prove it before applying, because you won't have your money back, they are not a charity, they are for profit.

Nick D then tell all the people why is it the federal courts have frozen Get Qualified Assets and why they have recently had there registration cancelled ?. Why is that? Not rocket science and you don't need to get a qualification to work it out. What kind mate they are not valid. I have had Years training, transcripts and training overseas and I'm still waiting for a piece of paper that I think judging by what I have read is not worth toilet paper. Basically you are paying GQA allot of money just to have your time wasted and your money stolen and sent overseas. Just go to a legal training organisation and do it through them.

Nick D they are not registered anymore, they are scam artists and thieves. I have given Get Qualified all the evidence needed and still no certificate.??? So I have asked for a refund like it was advertised on there website and still I am yet to receive my money that has been stolen from me. Do the maths there registration has been cancelled. It sounds like by what you are writing above you are a ignorant person who lives with there head in the clouds and have not done proper research on GQA or you are working with this criminal organisation. Working with the criminals by writing against people's comments trying to portray and make people look like they have done the wrong thing and that's why they are not getting a refund. Well the evidence stands true you are all thieves taking people's money, not providing refunds and not providing qualifications that are useless and won't be accepted. The way you write and explain your case Nick D looks like you are protecting these criminals or your useless qualifications lol.

GQA will take your money mate so run away quickly while you still can. No refunds no cancellations allowed. They have been taken to the federal courts for a reason use your brains. Ask yourself one question WHY HAVE THEY BEEN TAKEN TO THE FEDERAL COURT by the ACCC.

The magistrate from the federal court put a freezing order on GQ A assets if that isn't ringing alarm bells, I don't know what will. If you do the research there is also evidence that the owners Adam Mazen Wadi and his partner Lama Al - Natour have destroyed evidence and they where aware of problems occurring but did nothing to cure these problems. To top it off they also where transferring large sums of $$$$$$ to Jordan and United Arab Emirates. That stinks to me it's stinking out the place. If you notice all the positive comments written after the bad reviews it's methodical and calculated. If you look how the positive reviews are written, you will notice it's by people from GQA. Look carefully at it. The other thing is they are stealing people's money and transferring it out of Australia. WARNING WARNING WARNING......,,,,,,!!!!!!!!

I saw that they have brought new deal for 30% of for new qualification. do not waste your time with them they have financial issue as the federal court has frozen their account because of customer complain.

They are rude, irresponsible, absolute fraud and so Painful.

I highly Doubt about authenticity of recent Positive feedback as my friend said they approached her on the phone and told her that she has to remove her negative review from productreview website before they look at her issue and help him.

Just step away from them and if you are with them take it further with fair trading and ACCC

You should worry. Biggest scam ive ever come across. No one has ever got there qualification from this mob. Even if people leave a comment saying.... best service ever, highly reccomend this wondeeeeeeeerfuuuuul company. Blablablabla.

I heard from my friend who was signing with them for the course that she had lots of issue with them. She tried to fix it by contacting them but nothing happened. I suggested her to leave review here so she did.

Now they got back to her and said she needs to remove the review if she wants to get her problem sorted. No wonder they got to the court and.

That completely justifies where someof these positive feedbacks come.
