My daughter booked with you prior to covid and is now in New Zealand Oct 2022. She's had a terrible experience with GW&T so far. Firstly you did not give her the address of the hostel which caused delays at customs, and she had to sort it by calling a canadian number. Then at her hostel people were fighting outside, and she was not aware of a code to get in. This is at 2am after a long journey from UK. She was scared and frightened, ended up going in with another person who arrived luckily, but the hostel was so dirty, she is now in a hotel, and still not getting any help from GW&T. Why all theses problems? why aren't you helping her? She is 20 years old and on her own, and paying for accommodation. What was the £900 she paid you for?

It is very unfortunate to hear there was a fight outside of the hostel, definitely not something we would want anyone to witness. This hostel is in the CBD. It is the top rated hostel in Auckland that we have partnered with for the last few yers & normally get great feedback from, our team will follow up with your daughter for more information.

Would we be able to get our refund back after the deposit?
I have seen a few negative reviews about this company. I am supposed to be going to Thailand in Feb 2021 to volunteer with their tails and trunks program I am wondering has anyone completed this trip and what did they think and was Global work and travel really helpful and supportive. I admit they were pushy at first but it sounded really good thats why I have paid a deposit to go but then after reading the reviews I am feeling very anxious about it and starting to think that maybe I have made a mistake can anyone please put my mind at ease that I have made a good choice to go with them.
They are doing it to get your money, don't send them any money!
Is this company also do a "regular" travel booking? or specialises only in "working"type of holiday? Thanks!
