One of the reviewers said that lower prices are offered to new customers and the company reply didn't contradict that. Does that mean they increase the prices after you sign up?

They have all increased their prices so not sure how much of an increase is just normal.

Hello Tigre, After signing up, any increase in costs would be influenced by factors such as network, wholesale, and hedging costs. Market offers fluctuate, so they won't automatically change multiple times throughout the year. While customers don't have entitlement to specific offers, if there's a sales offer for new customers, we can extend it to existing customers. Essentially, it's the customer's responsibility to stay up to date with market trends and then reach out to the retailer.

Thanks for mentioning that Bernard, as the increases with the majority of retailers have been substantial over the last few years.

I'm not hearing a 'no'. So as I understand it, the rates we see in comparison tools are special temporary offers to hook new customers after which they jack up the price. How is that legal?

To simplify, let's consider a customer who signs up today. The prices they receive will likely differ from a customer who signs up a month later, as pricing may have increased or decreased. If a current customer has a set of pricing that is cheaper than what's available in a month, they certainly wouldn't call in and ask for an increase. The request would only arise in the event of a decrease in pricing.

I had the same. No other company has had any issue giving me a quote so I signed up with another provider. If they dont want your business then fine , there are plenty of other options.

Hi Greg, Provided you've had a solar meter reconfiguration, then yes.
Otherwise, it will just be used to power the home.

Please advise your tariff in Cents per Unit from 1/7. House with 4 (3 girls, one guy) and separately metered granny flat (one guy) current averge, pre tariff increase, is $300 per month with the solar feed in.

Have the recent big rises in Gas and also Electricity before that been taken into account with your rates at present on the Gov comparison website .If so how long will they stay as they are .
